Well, it's bad, but I already knew that, with 6 screws and an L shaped plate. They say I have severe (bone 2 bone) osteoporosis. Duh! I've had a torn mcl and this hardware since 2008. To make a long story endless they gave me a brace until I decide to settle down long enough to make an appointment, and then probably 3 month wait for another new knee. I guess I'll just push though it, until I can't drive or walk and then get r done.

Jammer,The PT in me is screaming come out and talk to you....
Please consider doing it sooner than later... the most successful people like Barb and my sister who do knee replacements are able to do quite a bit of pT prior to the surgery to strengthen their muscles so rehab goes easier. The end up with more range of motion, and will have better endurance and get back into the groove of life quicker. It is hard work, and if you can condition your knees beforehand, the rehab is far, far easier! OK... <steps off of soapbox and realizes she just gave unasked for advice, not being being very good at minding my own business right now...sigh, tomorrow she will try harder....>

Thanks for the concern and info. I've already had 1 knee replacement, and I bike a lot. My legs are in pretty darn good shape. Rehab went ok last time around. This time they have to take all the junk out of the knee (that's one surgery ), then wait for that to heal before they will do the total knee. I'm not doing that anytime soon.
I really haven't planned this very well. I thought I could go for at least a couple of years, but not sure now. Looks like I might plan this for next winter. The cortisone injection I had 5 months ago, is not working any longer. No worries, it's all good.

I think I may qualify as a mutant, besides, I had an invitation to come here. Wonder who???
Do not own a MH yet because I wanted to pay cash for it and not be in debt. Yep, I am buying used. Don't need fancy just want something nice and clean. Want to grill outside so need a grill. Lot's of bacon would help also.
Couple chairs to sit by the fire, don't care if I watch TV or not, want a different view every so often and look forward to seeing things I have never seen before. Three years and I retire and I will be hitting the road.
Buying the MH this summer when the right one comes along. Going to spend the next years until retirement learning how to use it. Will be asking a lot of questions and enjoying meeting some nice people.
Do I qualify? Hope so, Lynne
