Your grands must have came down this way. Mary and I have been passing this back and forth since Christmas. Today's my turn, hope you get to feeling better. Got to shake this off soon, son wants to stretch fence Sat.

These are our founding fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers...

Hey mutants - ring in! Rig improvements, changes, locations, ponders. Tell us what we need to know. How you doin... are you coming to Hot Springs in April for the GC Redux 1.2.

I'm trying to recollect previous posts, but it seems to me that every time there are fences to stretch you get feeling the blahs. Hmmm! One of us Mutants needs to talk to the son. Have him just pop on over an say, "Let's go."

All this time I thought he wasn't listening to me growing up. Now he's using my own words on me. "Excuses won't get that fence up, come April you'll want to run off and play with your Rv buddies and we still want have that fence up, let's go!" Dang!!

I keep telling him I'd have been a lot better help 10, even 5 years ago, now he has to work with what he's got, Me!

T minus 5

5 full days before we head out from our S & B for the sunshine state.

We just got our last delivery of poisonous vipers to hide in drawers and closets while we're gone. Them and the booby trapped 12 gauge shot guns should do the trick. Sounds harsh huh? But when I was growing up, my parents said there's absolutely no excuse for taking what isn't yours except if you're starving to death and need some food. AND pay that back when you can. I don't sympathize much with crooks. No "ahhhhhhhh, poor things" they've had a tough life, etc, etc, etc, etc.

BTW, my eyes (especially the left) have healed real well. The specialist wants to see me in 3 months (JUST AFTER SOME TYPE OF GATHERING IN ARKANSAS). Occasional "floaties" in the left eye. Also, I think I need new glasses to compensate for the damage done with the detachment.

Welcome to our new mutants. Reminder to all mutants to seriously ponder attending the gathering in Arkansas in April. You will enjoy it and it will be an event you remember for the rest of your life.

Healing ohms to those that need them.

WOOT! Woot!! WOOT - Papaw Steve is healing nicely and headed for sunny days in Florida.

Viper warning - don't open the drawers.

Steve - I'd like know where you got your floaties for the pool. This big boy is starting to tire of the truck inner tubes around each arm...

More ohmms to all. Hello to Mary Ann!

Still gives me heebie jeebies though... would rather wash with plain soap and water.

Steve and Annie - - Mary Ann says "Hi" to both of you.

(In this space, I deleted my rant about "being green" and "save our trees) LOL

Our membership list of mutants needs to set a goal of 30 participating members attending the Grand Curiosity. Without shame contact (by PM) those you know that would really enjoy the experience.

List YOUR "top 5" experiences at the last Grand Curiosity. I'll start. . . . .

1. Meeting fellow mutants (attaching a face to a RVM#)
2. Great food
3. Great music
4. Talking and getting to know fellow mutants and finding out we're amazingly alike
5. Experiencing touching, funny, meaningful, outrageous, unexpected, relaxing, memorable, surprising, thought provoking, eye searing, and one-of-a-kind moments

I seldom say oh yeah, or x2.... But there is no way I can top that list since i didnt do the treetops....
But it got my spouse into this mutant thang...
Even if you cannot stay the entire time.... Just a few days, will give you a new perspective upon us.....
I will again give watercolor painting lessons... I provide everything..

I also will be donating a painting for a raffle/auction kinda activity with 100% helping defray band cost....

Steve so glad your eyes are doin well...... That is very fortunate......
Tim. Yes, had the grands all day on Saturday..... One of the 5 seems to always have runny nose, and I got lots of hugs and kisses
Wayne, i relistened to your song. QTπ had to come see what it was... Good see.
And i forgot what else i was gonna say.

List YOUR "top 5" experiences at the last Grand Curiosity.

1. I have to agree... putting names and faces togetheris tops on my list.
2. Great food...man!, can we cook!
3. I'm not sure I've ever been so celebrated... When I heard everyone cheered when Honey finally drove in... well, that touched me deep...
4. The girls all getting to tease the Grand Poohbah with our kimono's... that was an ice breaker... what went on in the ladies room won't slip my lips, but we got to feeling more comfortable with each other in there....
5. The painting class, the RV Q & A talk from Dwayne, the camaraderie of helping each other out in various ways, the zip line, the support shown to Tim in his SS talk, the way it took everyone forever to get out of there... had to keep stopping to Goodbye folks with hugs and more stories...the ease and laid backness of knowing something was going on up at the pavilion that you could participate in or just go hang out, watch, and chat...morning fog on the water, AM coffee in the pavillion, watching Barb in her kayak with Sena and Lily, taking a dog walk in the meadow....need I go on?

5. Proof that RVM1 thinks he can sing.

4. KSCurde Kansas Bacon Wrapped Filet Night - Delicious

3. Bacon Cook Off / Challenge Papwa Steve Scallops - Earlenes Bacon Dates - etc etc. Double Delicious

2. Sparky meeting new and old RV Mutant Mascots - Rocky - ChocoMoose - etc etc

1. Watching my new mutant family listen to the Paul Byrd Band.

Among Top 10 Reasons to Attend GC 1.2 Redux April 15 - 22nd 2015

Back by popular demand - The Paul Byrd Band

Kimono Night

The First Ever RV Mutant Games

Mutant Meals

Getting to Know You - Getting to Know All About You

Be There or Be Somewhere Else...

OK - I know I need to do something about GC2.0 location, Dates etc - but for now I know where we will be for 1 week in May (15th or there abouts for 1 week) - Amana Colonies. Our neighbors here are work in this park and moving to Amana when the weather breaks. I will firm the dates up later - but it's our first stop when we leave Annies' parents town.

So there ya that. Anyone want to roll into old German history in May???
