That's awful Barb, sorry to hear that after just meeting her. Hope it was just temporary and she's better (or getting there)…ugh.

Darn. I thought all y'all looked like Texans ... without the leather skin. Come on down here for the summer and we can remedy that.

Vernell's diagnosis is fluid on her lungs due to heart problems. The fluid has been removed and she is resting more comfortably now. This is a reoccurrence of problems she had a few months ago. She'll be in the hospital a few days for a change of medications and monitoring. The prognosis is good. Thanks for all the healing Ohmmms my friends. Keep 'em coming, please.

But I'd lose my webbed feet and gills. Tough life living in the rain 4 months of the year. Ask Barb, she can attest.

X2 Barb. Pulmonary edema is rough stuff, but glad they have better ways of treating it nowadays.

Where the heck is Cherry Creek? I guess you're in that Pacific Northwest rain-way. So which 4 months out of the year does it rain?

Thanks for the update, Barb. I'm glad to hear that Vernell is improving.

Attn: RVMs attending GC@CL Redux; I need some 'splainin, plz. The ole' man only has three more Mondays till he is permanently under my fee.... uh... retired!!! So it appears that we are full speed ahead for the Redux. I was looking at the RVM website and see that the Opening of the Kimono is April 15, but there is no time of day indicated.

If we reserve our site (23?) for the 15th, we will likely travel from Houston to Hot Springs on that day, arriving around 4-5 p.m. Is the opening ceremony scheduled at night? Since this is our first Curiosity I don't want to miss anything. When are y'all planning to arrive? Anyone getting there a day or more early?

Sarah.... We are coming in on the 14th.... Some others probably are as well.

But not to worry the opening will be at night, and if we know you are coming, we will wait if need be.....
And for anyone else... If we know for sure....

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!
