Was really slick. I miss those band days and nights - but the mornings after were tough.

We have some really talented and interesting mutants - and just thought there might be something more we could do to let our mutant flag fly. Let's see if there's any traffic to rvm2.RVMdom@gmail.com and what ideas surface.

Ok my fellow Mutants,

If you e-mail Steve (RVM 2 ) we mayhaps be able to get the makings of a newsletter started. As was stated before the possibilities are endless.

Cheers !!!

You're right in there, Dunner! I like the detail of highway lights along the right and the power pole frame. Wowser, what a sunset.

Pretty cool!! Does he have a helmet cam - shoot stills and videos. Saw a segment on Red Bull and filming of sports. Pretty amazing things being done and captured on film. Very nice.

Nope Steve, ... he just pulls out his camera and takes the picture. ( he doesn't fly very fast, and steers with his feet as it is a weight shift thing....so his hands are free)

Ah, Kodachrome, RIP. Amazing and sad how Kodak is no longer in the film and camera business. Who would have thunk it? Paul Simon knew of what he sang. Here is an old Kodachrome image to go with our boat talk! Alas, not folding. Tomorrow I will talk about Polaroid.

Oh my goodness!
Tina, if we are fortunate to have a Curiosity, the images will fly about, and the bright colors....oh my!

I want to learn your skill.

It gives ya the nice bright colors. Gives ya the greens of summer. Makes ya feel all the world's a sunny place.... woa oh oh oh... Everybody sing. Now just the ladies. Now this side of the room. Now the guys.

Mamma don't take my Kodachrome - mama...

Btw - for wildlife I liked Provia and Velvia.

How long is a Kodacolor negative good for? Will it fade after time. I have a dandy of a sunset from the 70s.

Kodachrome is one of the most archival films and should last 100 years or more if kept dry and hopefully not baked! Did you know that Kodachrome actually starts out as black and white and the colour is developed in the processing? (or it was, the last processor, Duane's Photo, ceased processing a few years ago).

Just to be clear, Kodacolor and Kodachrome are not the same thing. Kodacolor is negative film which produces prints, Kodachrome is reversal or slide film. Dunner, Kodacolor negatives do fade with time. Best bet for anything irreplaceable is to get them digitally scanned.
