In other news, our daughter Morgan finally taught herself how to whistle so every time she woke up in the night she had to whistle the next line of "on top of spaghetti..." The dogs loved it. A 5-year-old Whistling has an added bonus in an RV. That's going in the next blog. Btw- y'all keep talking about little boys and missing them. My dad always said my sister and I acted so rotten we were the sons he always wanted and never had.
Wasn't it tales from Lake Wobegon that said welcome to our hOme where the men are strong, the women beautiful and all our children are above average? Well Canton, Ga (my hometown) boasts it's where the men are men and the women are too. Haha. Yall are the best!
You just reminded me of our flight from California to mainland Japan and then to Okinawa. The flight from CA to JP is around 14 hours. Sitting behind us was a young lad, who happened to be the son of the Sergeant Major sitting in the same row- my next command Sergeant Major, that was in the process of learning how to whistle. Close your eyes, listen to your mind imitating tweet, tweet, tweet, and then imagine 14 hours of it.

And you thought I was annoying!

And for the bacon loving mutants I offer this quick tip.

Good morning mutants. It's looking good in the RGV today. May have to make some bacon. But don't think I will use the oven today.

Be careful out there and have fun!

Nope, I'm betting on Florida sinking first. Let's start a pool, though.

When I was down in the dumps, recovering from surgery for an open fracture of my right knee cap, this bunch of STMs literally pulled me up out of the doldrums and got me laughing and looking forward to life after surgery. They were my social connection and lifeline for the 2 and 1/2 months I was home-bound. I'm glad you've reconnected with the Mutants. This bunch is always here for you!

I guess that threating to choke the beejeeses out of him was out of the question.

Well if your boat doesn't have some things and you don't miss them, the yurt will. Lol.
Bring it on bubba...

So I'm having a hard time deciding. Since Andrea and I are in a different place in life.... meaning we still haven't had kids yet, but want to - and we would like to move to our final "raising the kids" house in the next 2 years - makes buying an RV choice difficult.

Even though I have the money to get another class a, the more and more I look at the class c's, or the small A's with bunks... these would most certainly foot the bill, and for less money. The way we RV, spending anything over 100k just seems like money spent that's not needed to be spent.

Tough choices.... heck id rather pay 50k...

Anyone ever own both? Class c vs class a, diesel vs gas? I've only ever had the 40' footer diesel. I won't be living in it, but I would like to hold it for a long time.

Ah the days of whittling on the back porch steps listening to the radio and listening to Keelor et all entertaining us. At one time I had a collection of the "Final Installment" VHS tapes that were fun to watch. Never understood why PBS never pledge trolled with a Prairie Home Companion telethon? Thanks for reminding me.

If you count like you see probably you'd be great at either all the odds or all the evens.

Nowadays you probably luck into being on an air marshal flight and there's be all heck to pay.

Had a class B Airstream Van for 20 years. Whatever works is what's best. They all beat tent camping. And you could about us... we will come visit and act like kids and you won't need to have college funds.. been there done that. We will throw away our shoes and every 5 or six months pretending to outgrow them.. break lamps and stand in front of an open refrigerator for 10 minutes looking... and throw baseball's through the neighbors windows. Lol...

Nothing better than kids buckoo.. and nothing better than RV mutating as a family. A boat is a bonus!
