Nite Sue, Mel Steve is the author of "Murder at Rope Light Gulch" MARLG.

Everyone must be exhausted from the game, small flurry of post at the finish now nearly nothing. I suspect they're all getting old.

We are STILL sitting in our recliners with our mouths hanging open ... wondering what the hell Carroll's offensive coordinator was smokin' at the end of that game.

I bet Lynch and Wilson are wonderin', too. And I bet Lynch is STEAMIN' over that play.

The Seahawks GAVE that game to the Pats. Ridiculous. Well, I should say the Seahawks' offensive coordinator and head coach gave the game to New England.

However, we are very happy that Danny Amendola got a Super Bowl ring. He's a Texas Tech grad and has a lot of fans out here in West Texas. He and Wes Welker (also a Tech grad) have made us proud. (Not to mention, Louis Vasquez and Manny Ramirez from Tech who are titans on the Broncos' offensive line.) Football is the drug of choice for most people out here. It's ridiculous, really.

Ah, well ... May it snow flowers upon your neck out there! Lucky man! I still have dried leis from my friends and from the airport. Great memory-holders.

How long do you have in Paradise? Will the snowmelt before your return? Fat chance, you say? You could miss your return flight .... not unknown!

Cheers and Bon voyage!

Dogpatch... you sound so excited... I know my mom and dad sure enjoyed their trip there... seems like such a long flight though... Bob and I chose to go to the Caribbean island of Harbor Island instead as it was closer...but I am sure it was not nearly as exotic... enjoy your trip.

Dog, safe travels and have a fantastic time in Hawaii! Maybe the snow will all melt before you get back home.

Just checking in with all STMs! Back in Tucson. If someone told me there would be thick fog, I would've never believed it. By 1:30, back to crystal blue skies though! I might add, Southern California was beautiful.
Les, have big fun and relax in Hawaii!
Anything new mutants?
