Well it's a windy morning here in the RGV and 51 degrees. The clouds look much colder and I here it's in the 20s back in Herbs neck of the words, my old home town. In my new home town of Sioux Falls it is -9. We aren't expect to see the 70s here until Saturday.

Hope all you cold country mutants keep warm and we button up or wind breakers here. Great day for mutation!

[QUOTE=MPH;2408035][QUOTE=Diwizi;2408019] Mel, my DH would question that I put the fence up.... He did the fence.... I just piled rocks along the bottom.... But the girls are loving it......

Fellow mutants, this is both a sad and happy day. After 6 weeks of recovering from a second surgery on my right knee on December 22, it's time to go back to the real world. (Can you say w ... wor ... wrrr ...? Oh, shoot, I can't bring myself to say it.)

Tomorrow, I return to that place that pays me money for 8-12 hours-a-day of my life, 5 days a week (and a sixth day, every once in a while). Oh, the humanity. ( to Steve.)

But, it means we are "that" much closer to leaving the S&B behind, moving into Bow and hitting the Rainbow Trail full time.

We want to hear encouraging stories from all you FTers when we're at CL! We know we follow a long and illustrious tradition of Rainbow Riders.

Still, I'd appreciate a few Ommmmms for my return to w__k. It's not gonna be easy, I'm afraid, to get back into the swing of it. But, I am grateful to have a great job with a wonderful organization and to work with some truly amazing folks. I'm blessed.

Mel

Some of the guys tell us it's the utter horror of what the Kimono may conceal that should concern us, my friend. We shall see. I'm sure all will be revealed in due time, in due time.

Oh, lord help. What did I just say?

Dave - nice looking weather!!

Question - do any parks in AZ not have gravel, rock, pebbles, compact sand, etc for site foundation? I hate waking on rocks and don't care much for dust.

The guys may say "utter horror", but when ALL of the ladies honored me by wearing kimonos, I knew I was pleasing to the ones that matter!

Well, AZ is all kitty litter and rocks, and dust in a good wind. That also goes for Utah (et lal).
Most parks have paved roads and compacted fine gravel on the lots.
We had 2 days of strong wind in Yuma, so my eye drops got a workout, but I tolerate a lot to have dry air.
Our big mat helps!
Lots of other RVMs have done AZ a lot; many much more than me. So, I'll let them chime in.

Really not looking forward to walking dogs in 11 degree weather with wind chill making it feel like 0... fortunately it doesn't happen too often....I'll be so bundled up I'll be looking like the staypuft marshmallow man!
