Anything new mutants?
I plan on doing just that! We're staying at a friends house right on the ocean.

As you continue to dream of retirement and following your dreams please know that others are with you in your struggle to endure the w--k ritual that unfortunately is still a must at this juncture in life.

I will pray for your fast retirement and ask that you pray for mine. Three years and counting down the days. January 7, 2018 to be precise.

Stay safe and happy! Lynne RVM 105
Lynne,

I'm also gonna need some over your retirement prayers!

At the current rate my wife is spending, I figure I'll be able to afford to retire about 5 years after I'm dead!

Me and the Missus got some skinny dippin to do on the beach in the moonlight though! That might just be trouble enough!
If anyone could give gettin' inta trouble lessons, it's gotta be Tim.

Thanks Tim! Been to Hawaii a few times. Never gets old!
Yes, I'll have to take lots of money! Canadian dollar is low by $0.21 compared to USD.

You guys should be organizing a GC here in Canada. By that time, your holiday should be damn near free with the exchange! LOL

I'm so glad I don't hear my hubby talking like that... we lived so conservatively when the boys were little...Nowadays, I am always a little surprised to hear him say where do you want to go when I ask if he wants to eat out....Then when I got cancer and had a test that wasn't covered by insurance and all... I felt badly...but he never complained.
I have caught him looking up some of the supplements I take, and he has asked about a few... they do add up, but I figure, they are saving us in dr. bills in the long run...plus, I feel a whole heck of a lot better when I take them...and that translates into a better life for him...and me!

Prayers and or condolences for all those who toil and till each day to earn a living or life funds. It is not that we do not like our jobs, it is just that the road calls with the siren's song of fun and relaxation. It is time to retire and enjoy ourselves in endeavors that interest and entertain us beyond the repetitive actions of the w--k environment.

To all who w--k, I say shuck free your chains and fly free upon the rainbow! Leave that life of dulldumbs behind and sleep in, take a walk at 10am, swim at midnight, and see a new horizon. Oh the joy of freedom upon the road!

Man, I need to get real here and settle into three more years of w--k. OK, rant over, I am awake now and the dream is safely stored until it's unveiling.

Hope those who are retired are enjoying themselves and those who are still working (me) understand that it will come.

BTW, it takes me forever to catch up with all the posts on this thread and I check it every day. Man, there must be a lot of retired people here cause ya'all spend a lot of time here.

Have a wonderful day! Happy Birthday! Hugs! Moonbeam You do know the moon is full tonight??

R U an RV Mutant too?

Full moon again already? Rollin around fast these days!

There used to be a couple in this KOA who led full moon kayak paddles. Magical, to be on the water at night in the estuary with others who felt the quiet and beauty too.

Hugs and moonbeams gratefully received, returned and passed on. Sail safely!

9 Degrees and 14 inches of white!

That's what I woke up to this morning…ugh, so much different than last week in sunny FL….There was plenty of white down there as well but it was this really fine sand.

I guess I did have fun sending a rooster tail out the snow blower across the front yard, probably 50 feet or more, would still prefer the bicycle ride in the a.m. to that!

Well it's that day again. Senior Discouny Day at Krogers, time to go fight the old people over a penny here, nickle there and mabe a dime if they haven't ran out yet. Kind of like going to a class reunion, never get in and out without running into someone you know.
