How far of a drive to the big lake is it from Catherine's Landing?
It's just across town, depending on traffic it's 30-45 min drive.

Although details are not final..... There will be an original watercolor painting donated fir the purpose of raising funds to pay the band. Since I am donating it, i will leave the hows up to the TEMPS..... Live auction, raffle, silent auction.... Makes no dif to me.....

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!
Yes.... we have a lovely painting. I didn't realize it was compensation... thought a gift of love... lol.

Is there a minimum opening $$ on the painting.... is there a picture of this fine work of art so potential bidders can begin to save for it... covet it in advance - find a wall for it in S&B or removable hook for MH.... inquiring mutants want to know.....

And you hit the Jackpot....!!! Post 31,000 is yours!!!

I am officially calling it the "ONE crock-pot-luck wonder"......
Each site # (couple, etc) contributes ONE casserole, or slow cooker meal, or crock pot dish....
Which basically should have 6-8 servings....
For example chicken and rice (gf), or white chicken chili, or meatballs and pasta.....
Those who just do not cook, aka Barb, can provide a bag of salad.....

And since this will most likely be the closing ceremony night. We Will figure out something sweet to celebrate
EVERYONE's birthday again.... Maybe a potluck dessert FONDUE......

Jay what kind of fishing do you like to do, bass, bream, catfish crappie? I don't Bass fish much anymore but my son is big into tournament fishing, he flew to Dallis with Bassmaster Elite Tournament winner Mark Davis this past weekend. Bream will probably not be on beds yet and therefore scattered, fishing catfish is more what we do nowadays. The crappie fishing is very competitive meaning all the known holes will be guarded by groups of old men. Lol
