Ya know Sue,
That isn't such a bad idea, we tried to have that wild game dinner at the "First Ever Grand Curiosity" but we didn't have much wild as mild, however the gator and venison were fantastic,
Who's up for mountain goat do the secret mutant wave.

Ok, I've meet my quota on attachments on IRV2. How to I free up more space? Can I delete old attachments?

You can opt to become an IRV2 supporter and you won't have that issue.

Good morning Mutants. Made it to Sonora TX late yesterday. Heading somewhere south if San Antonio today. It's the Journey man, and yesterday was one for the books.

I wish we had gone on a weekday instead of Saturday; it was elbow-to-elbow in there and too many people crammed into EVERY RV. Now we can say we have been (and don't plan to do so again, lol).
Of all the Class A's we looked at, I loved the new Bounder model with opposing slides in the living area. Of the DPs in our price range, I was surprised to be impressed by the Sportscoach Cross Country. Really well thought out and lots of bang for the buck. IF we had been seriously shopping, that Sportscoach would be high on my list. I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about them on the forum.
We stopped at Pappadeaux on our way home and had $90 worth of mediocre seafood and poor service. After spending $10 on 2 cokes at the RV show, I was feeling pretty ripped off on the entire day.
|
Ah, you are one of the lucky ones. You got away without purchasing.
Yep! Decided a long time ago that the weekend is not the time to go to the RV show in Houston. I don't like standing in a que waiting to see the inside of a motor home. Thursday is not a good time either because all the vendors are not set up yet and you cannot get into their demo's until they are finished. That leaves Firday, and make it early.
We just bite the bullet and pay the price for the bad food at the RV show. Funny how those prices escalate when there is a captive audience and they are the only players in the auditorium.
We used to like Pappadeaux but last time there it was as you stated. I don't understand. Quality and service goes down but the prices go up. Hmm!

I poked my head out in time to see her jump to the top of the table, grab 2 peppermint candies and run back outside. I now have to lock the door when I go in so she doesn't help herself.
Second offense -- Our RV has a tip out trash bin. She now has learned that if she jumps up and grabs the handle she can pull the door open enough that it will stay open so she can rob the contents. It now has a mini bungee cord that keeps the bin from fully opening. It only took me 90 minutes to get it all done and cleaned up.
Anyone want a monkey?

Can I spank it?

What is wrong with the way one has to join? Inquiring minds want to know.

R U an RV Mutant too?
'Mornin, Mutant fambly! Tip o the hat & top o the day to ye, one and all.
Morning in Naples (FL) today: mostly overcast w/showers predicted; woke late, showered, made tea and am now watching the ladies play shuffleboard across the road. They're so much quieter than the men!
Martin made coffee and took it back to bed. He'll be surfing along any minute now.
Shuffleboard is not my thang, but I want to try my hand at horseshoes. Does CL have a pitch? We know Dave and Nola have a shoe, ours is at the S&B, and Tim must have a leftover shoe or two from back in the day. Who plays the game?
Such an old fashioned game! Reminds me of family reunions on the farm, when the men all pitched horseshoes after dinner. (While the women cleaned up, and us kids all ran around making noise.) No working horses left by then, but the tradition was still strong.
Rambling on. Rain has begun. Run, ladies, run for cover! Shuffleboard on pause.

Sue was considering horse shoes at the GC but was steering more toward things we could do under the pavilion with the full contingent of happy houring mutants cheering you on. The horse shoes would require ground that stakes could be driven into and more movement than even Exlax could provide! But any ideas of fun games send them to me. This will be a keep your own score Olympic event! Can't get any more mutant than that!
There will be cow chip tossing, bring your own gloves!

Make a photoshop account... it's free... upload your pictures onto it... it gives you the code to share... just click on the image [img] code and it copies it then paste it into your post and whalaa... picture appears when you post! It's not hard.

Perhaps the bean bag toss thing?
Egg toss would need to be on grass.
Do we need legal EPA clearance for chip tossing?
OTOH, I am a supporting member, so I have plenty of image posting capability, Mr Tim.
OTOH (the left one) I post this for the lounging RVM in Hawaii. I think you missed this one the 1st time I posted it, DOG!
But advise you to be careful where you lift yer leg.
