We bring our shower with us and use it exclusively. Where we are now - there are lots of people using the park facilities. I'm surprised by that and don't understand it.

Ponder away...
These two Rainbow Riders will always use our own shower. Neither one of us fancies packing up toiletries, clothes, etc., etc. and hauling it all to a public bath house. Why did we buy a motorhome with a nice, spacious shower if not to use it?

Sounds like an Oxymoron.

At almost 87, my mom is nothing short of amazing. She has bounced back so fast, the therapists at the rehab facility said they could not justify keeping her any longer and discharged her early last week, after about 8 or 9 days in rehab. She's still a tad weak, but feeling stronger and better every day. We had a great time over the weekend. Went out to eat twice and played cards for hours on end!

Her birthday is in April and on her birthday weekend (right after CL GC Redux) I'm going to take Bow up to Palo Duro Canyon State Park and set up in a pretty spot. My sister (who also lives in Amarillo) is going to pick mom up and the two of them will drive out to join me for a weekend at Palo Duro. Mom said she'd much rather do that than have a party, and we're not arguing with her about it!

One of the campgrounds at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in the Texas panhandle, southeast of Amarillo.

Oh, yeah. Plenty of mesquite all over our part of Texas. (Want me to bring you some in April?) You know I'll be cooking steaks over a mesquite fire at Mom's birthday camp-out at Palo Duro!

Probably best not to transport wood across state lines... but Tim will have plenty of firewood! And we'll find something to char meat with.

I am looking to smoker crew on Saturday... dem Luau Pork Butts won't smoke themselves.
