Worry not - as ye are not the first mutant to enter the RVMdom without an RV in the present. And you do have one of sorts. I don't recommend you trailer it though as moving large boats over land might turn into a paying job and History Chanel film crew following you around.

Also - one of our mutants seems to have a new to him Motorhome - no motor - and another new to him Motorhome every couple of months. We mutants delight in his antics and yours as well. Keep us posted on your fishing expedition. Hope you land a land based mutant machine soon.

Maybe you could put some wheels on it and mutate into an RV?

I don't know if Dave n Nola made it to Ft. Collins yet, but if so I hope you have the highest ground possible as a campsite. Been watching the weather channel. Pretty wet ground there abouts. Be safe.

Ohh WHEELS, why didn't I think of that. I could put cat tracks on each shaft, but got to figure a way to adapt the rudders to steering wheels. And without air ride I'm not sure the DW will go along.

I'm in the KOA at Strasbourg tonight, about 25 miles east of Denver. We have had torrential rain pretty much all day, but no serious flooding. I haven't seen Ft Collins mentioned in the news. The disaster is centered on Boulder which is about 50 miles NW of Denver. Major flooding and several people dead there. We're hoping to hit I-70 East in the morning.

Annie and I would never so such a thing.

The Colorado flooding has been on the news here too. The area got more rain in a day than they usually get in year. Three people have lost their lives already. Streets are flowing like torrent rivers.

I went into West Marine to buy some water resistant 12 volt electrical stuff and the salesman stated that an RV was just a boat with wheels. I suggested that a boat was just an RV without the wheels attached.

Oops, apparently I misspoke! Apologies to our fearless leader. I seem to be greedy to meet more of us & am certainly losing my short term memory.

Buzzed us, did he? Just wait till we catch up w/ him! No gift-wrapped bacon for him!

Cheers!

Sue

Yes - the buzzard buzzed ya. I take no responsibility for how or where RVM1 doesn't hurry to next. I just hope he and folks currently there or headed to Colorado stay safe and dry - and the collective mutant heart goes out to those who live there and have lost friends and loved ones and or there life long possessions. Very sad reminder of mother natures awesome powers.

If ya send in the video maybe Bret Michaels will rock yer world and give you one. He's the one that puts slide outs in the way back. Me? Is it wrong to want five slide outs cos I only got three? Does a mutant ever get slide out envy?

Hey Steve and Fellow Mutants,

We are stationary here in Camp Verde, and will be at least until the end of October, then in early to mid-November we will be heading to Apache Junction, but the wedderman says its going to be hot and dry for the next up coming week, which is wonderful news since we have had an extended monsoon season thus far. That being said the lower valley, meaning Phoenix, is swimming much more than usual since all this water has been running downhill. When we went through Colorado Springs it was dry but that was weeks ago and of course its not the case now, mudder nature can be really mean when she chooses to be.

Mike and Harriet you waterhome looks nice, but I must say I much more enjoy a rolling land home. I hope you find a buyer soon and can begin seeing our nation from a different perspective. I like the shell lights, I used to have three sets, but when we had a huge garage sale there was one that decided they just had to have them and so off they went, just remember to know your needs and what you dont need dont worry about.

I have been thinking about how much I will miss this years deer season in Michigan, the last time I missed it was 1995, but next year I will figure out how to make it happen and in the meantime I will try to figure out if there is a way to make venison bacon, it is a ponder that I will gladly ponder until the time I can go again. In the meantime we will find more Jeepin trails and see more National Monuments, all things we missed in the past because we had to hurry back to the sticks and bricks, I am finding that I dont miss that at all.

Cheers !!!
