Man that comment brings back memories. Many years ago my sons and I joined the husband of a girl that worked for me and his friend. I had meet the husband before, he was plenty country, but his friend was like a mix of country and zombie.
Early on the twilight of the morning, Billy (the husband) was just calling away. His friend in a drawn out creepy voice that can only be described as scary said " Billlllll-lllllly ( pause----------) yooooou calllllling ducccks ( pause---) or just calllling?
My boys all cut their eyes toward me as in what have we got ourselfs into. We killed a ton of ducks that day but we remember and quote that phrase more than the success. Now it's funny!

We didn't buy new... and quit going to RV shows long ago. I was just wondering. RV shows are OK but as Sarah said the other day - usually crowded - and even when free - I always seemed to leave them feeling like I had wasted my time.
Put the house on ebay. Lol

Hi Mutants,
I agree with the commercialization of the day. It's great but over the years we have gotten each other so many great cards (and cheaper than now days) that we just re-give them. They were from a year ago or 4 or 5. Never know which one you are going to get again. Makes us laugh because they are already signed and labeled.
We prefer to do things all year long. Don't vacation when other people are out with their children but when kids are in school. Don't wait so long in lines then and more space and quiet.
We get each other things throughout the year sometimes mushy, sometimes funny, and sometimes devilish. Neither of us needs the candy so why bother. We love by our rules and it doesn't have to make sense to anyone else.
With that in mind, hope you all have the day you want as a couple or as a single. Be as happy as you can because it is much better than being sad.
Lynne

You were not in the area long enough, and besides, I don't know if they could handle you - rotund one

Can you even picture Herbie (and me) in that place at one time. They'd have to get a bigger plate, and table.

My brother and I sent the same B'day card to each other for a few years, then one year he added a junk box. (Box of stuff he no longer wanted.) We did that for a little while but finally stopped. It was getting to expensive to send the stuff as it kept getting heavier.

Hope that everyone has a great Valentines day. We went out for Indian food, and then to the Shell station for donuts & lottery tickets. Quite a romantic evening. One thing that I love about you mutant men is your dedication to your wives. My wife is the best part of me and I couldn't envision my life without her. I hope that you all feel the same as I do because it is the best feeling ever.

Your right Your Rotundness, not sure that place could handle both of us at one time. Earlene and Barb would have to roll us outta there!

Hi, Tim and Mutant folks. I haven't been on much. Suffered a back re-injury and having a rough time. However, camping season is coming! We've made lots of reservations, including two weeks at Ocean Lakes.
