I thought of you today when I saw this.... and of course the other mutants of the tundra...

Steve, it's day after day after day. Same old thing. Retired.

However, I'm sure glad I'm not finished.

I noticed the maple trees and elm trees have their buds swelling up a bit...I suppose this will put them on hold another week or 2.... it's 18 degrees and I don't think the buds will break open until the weather is a bit warmer....

Attention Mutants!
I have just blocked 12 sites at
Ruby's Inn - RV Park and Camp Ground just outside Bryce Canyon. (See Link Below).

Dates: Aug. 15th - 23rd - departing the 24th or stay longer if you wish.

I did 8 days because it is a fair distance for many Mutants to journey - and there is lots to see and do. There is no weekly rate - it's fixed at caravan rate.

http://www.brycecanyoncampgrounds.com/

I spoke with Krisette and she is delightful! With 10 or more rigs we get the Caravan Rate of $37.95 + tax.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hour cxl policy no charge, or 1 night rate if less 48 hours notice.

Rubys is Almost - 8000 feet above sea level and will be quite pleasant that time of year.

We are Registered as - wait for it - RVMutants! You may call and reserver your site at any time:
(435) 834-5301

Let us know here when you have made your reservation.

Can ya feel it. There's a buzz in the air... another GC is coming together. First Ever Fall Into End of Summer GC @ Ruby's Bryce Canyon. Formerly know as the place Barb Once Bought a Shower!

She didn't give me numbers - but set up the 3 rows x 4 coaches wide front to back. I will call back soon. My phone was dying cause I was searching and searching this morning and finally gave in to Ruby's. She asked about anyone without slides, 30 amps etc but I didn't know who or what. You can work out details when you call. I am getting excited about this one.

Talked to Jeff and Marcia - looks good to them. Dave and Nola  When I talked to Possum last week it looked doable for them. Tim and Mary are in. I think it was too early for Wayne and Earlene and possibly Barb. But it's already looking like a tentative 6. Need 4 more to make the rate - but we're on for a Midi- as it is.!! Woot.

Will Bob be piloting the canyons?

Steve if the creek don't rise that could work for us too! Right now we are planning an extended road trip that time frame and that direction so I will go ahead and book it.

He will need to do his research first about whether he needs any special permits and then closer to the time... the weather will be a big factor... he won't want to pull the trailer if it doesn't look good for flying windwise.... but I am hopeful! There is an airport right close!
