Not sure about that yet, but we'll definitely be going back to Bryce Canyon!

One interesting tidbit. The Ruby of Ruby's Inn fame was a man, not a woman. Hmmm, was that the earlier version of a boy named Sue? We may need to investigate that when we get to Bryce?

When at Bryce Canyon make sure you drive west on Utah highway 12 from Bryce to Boulder. About every 10 miles the landscape totally changes. It's amazing! And so much interesting history.

Thanks, Barb! I made a note of that! We're working on a long list of "must see" places!

Not quite. Churchill would have once said " ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put. "

His name was Reuben C. "Ruby" Syrett... just a nick name but if he were a character in Murder at Ropelight Gulch - he would have a big ruby in one of his front teeth. Maybe two.

I did the horseback ride down into the canyon when I was there a few years ago. My knees wouldn't allow me to hike down so it was the only way to see the hoodoos (rock formations) up close. It was a fun experience.

At that altitude I doubt I'll be able to do much hiking. I'll go with you, Tim.
