Sue, you in for a jam?

Of course I'm in for a jam! Kate has a wonderful collection of percussion instruments, too. Love it! We'll have a great rhythm section if Dave and Kate and assorted others play. You and Steve (c'mon, Steve!) and I can carry the string section. Lap dulcimer too.

Any winds? I have tinwhistles and a recorder.

Anybody know The Crawdad Song? Tell Ol' Bill?

Interesting thought, Dave. But what flavors would mix together to define a mutant jam? That would definitely be verrrry in-ter-rest-ting. (Spoken in the manner of Arte Johnson on Laugh In)

Egg shakers, I thought, would be made from egg gourds. It's a natural fit, although wood is admittedly sturdier. The cabasa, too, I imagine was originally based on a gourd...?

Wish I could be there to hear all the jamming that will be going on. Maybe someone could record it. The Jamming Mutants.

Well, it must have berries gathered by an RVM. Nuff?
(And my image of Arte is still very strong)

Don't EVEN wanna think of those two in the same sentence! Nose whistle. Jam. Note: two separate sentences. Not even with raspberries and sugar added!

Some would differ on my dancing and singing abilities. But if you don't want to see it or hear it, don't be around for it at the GC!
FYI, I learned a lot from Bill Murray, and we all know how talented he is!
Seems folks tolerate it for a peek inside of the Kimono. Grimaces welcome!

OMG. OMG. OMG. You're kidding, right? You actually have one of those? 'cause if you don't, I really DO! I'm not kidding. An old fella in Oklahoma gave it to me. It was his "thank you" after I played at his retirement community. He wanted to know if I'd ever heard of it and of course I had not. He told me he owned several and wanted me to have one. I've never actually used the thing, 'cause he had used the thing ... but you are welcomed to give it a go.

That's right ... you haven't met me yet. I am PLENTY old (graduated hs in '71) to have met Arther Itis. He's a pest and not a friend. Moved into my right knee and left hip like he owned 'em.

He just laughs when you have a hard time getting out of bed or when you wake up in tears from him pounding your joints. I hate the guy. Mobic (or the generic, Meloxicam) makes him settle down and behave most of the time, though.

Is your Arther of the Rheumatoid clan or the Osteo clan? Mine is the Osteo clan. Last knee surgery, the doc scraped and cut a lot of Arther outta there. We'll see if he gets mad and returns ... with friends. Thank God for Mobic!

Ok, how about if everyone posts their hs graduation years! Like I said, I'm class of '71.
