You're in charge of audience appreciation enforcement. Anyone looking bored or rolling their eyes during the Mutant Jam ... just sick Sena on their RV kitchen.

Oh, I forget to say:

Kate is class of '68. I'm '71. She robbed the cradle.

As pointed out it has been a while since I last posted. Yes we are still using the teardrop and modifying it... The latest project is heating using the water heater. When boondocking and relying on solar for all our power the marine 120AC is out of the question. I had been thinking in terms of why not use the water heater in gas mode as a source. I picked up an aluminum automotive heater core and a 200mm computer case fan and ordered a 12v solar hot water pump and temperature controller which will control both the pump and fan. I built the housing out of oak and assembled using nylobraid 1/2" hose from Home Depot. Proof of concept because the temps are still about -10F was to fill the sink with hot water and power the pump and fan with a 12v gel cell. And it works. I will have to wait till spring till I can finishing plumbing and try it out. My feelings are that it will be enough for us as we only have 400 cubic feet to heat and the trailer has 1 1/2" of foam insulation. Any wanting to see the process and what others are doing can see it here Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers • View topic - Heating using the hot water tank.

Thank goodness there is not a normal (in the traditional sense of the word) person in this group ... which is why we joined. The Rainbow is wide and there is room for everyone. Trust me on this. They welcomed Kate and me.

Looking forward to meeting you and Dale on the road somewhere, someday, Deb.

I was told some time ago... normal is only a setting on the washer or dryer, and doesn't relate to people....

Hey shadowcatcher I see you're still at it and making improvements! Sure wish you could bring that puppy to GC but I know you're active in the teardrop world too. You'll always be RVM8 though so you have charter member status. Dividends haven't kicked in yet but they will. on the heat!

The gift shop in Port Isabel has a ton of great stuff... mercifully Annie brought a ton of pretties with us... I need to watch her closely to make sure she doesn't start stashing things in the bays and making room. We're going back the first sunny day.

Next time you're out - cross the bridge and it's on the left near the light house. Whatever you do, don't let Kim in there... lol. Especially if she has a credit card..
