The 2014 GC began on April 23rd. Catherine's Landing was warm and inviting. The trees and grass were green and the skies were blue except for about 30 minutes during dinner the first night. But hey, RVMs are tough cookies and are very adaptable.

I'm with you on that last point; I just hate crying 'cause my head gets all clogged up and it takes forever to clear it up.

Maybe we'll watch the movie at home sometime on DVD. (Is it out yet?) That way I can blow my nose as much as I want and not worry about disturbing others! On the other hand, usually the book is better than the movie. Maybe I'll read the book first and then watch the movie.

I worked with people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia for 14 years. I loved it. Loved taking them to a happy place in their minds through long ago memories (talked with spouses and families all the time to find those out) or playing songs from the 30s, 40s or 50s for them. Alzheimer's (or dementia of any kind) is the cruelest disease there is.

Di I thought you had just ran out of words!

Larry 8 weeks and this GC has NO weight restrictions! So much to do, so little time!
