That "could" work in theory. Then you'd get to watch her try to fly and fall all over the place She's had her flight wings her whole life minus the one time she got away and animal control decided that's what was needed after capturing her. Got some stories there from that...

Anyhow, I'm a big believer of not taking the birds one defense mechanism away from them - the gift of flight. They're paranoid enough (eyes on each side of their head) and taking flying away IMHO really messes with their minds. So even though I'm aware of that option, it's just not something I'd consider.

You have to understand that she's free to fly about at home and yet she stays in the bird room and that's it. And she's quite an accomplished flyer, maneuvers better than a helicopter

Di or Sue, Mary has some fine wire with color coating that she worked with when she worked. She ( seriously) would like to braid maybe a lanyard or something from it. Is that possible using the wheel?

Fence wire? Are you trying to get out of finishing the fence again?

If it's anything like the colored wires used in jewelry making, then yes. Goodie! Something new to play with!

Btw on ebay you can get wheels.....
I am now wanting a square one..... Too........

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

What a great coupla days you have comin up! Will those pups ever forgive you? Before supper? Or have way too much fun at daycare?

Lessee -- the list:
Diane, has her own supplies;
Mary Ann, needs supplies;
Mary, needs wheel, has wire;
Mel & Kate, bring their own to show, tell, & play.

I'll prolly get carried away and bring more fibers than needed, but there should be plenty of choice. My samples are all necklaces thus far. Diane and Mary may have inspired me to get more adventurous!
