GCII will be a great place for that. Never experienced campfire cobbler until a gathering at Train Mountain a few years ago. Decadence in a cast iron pot.

When I lived back east those were called rubber boots. Out on the coast (Pacific Northwet) they call them gum boots and I can't firgure out that particular colloquialism. Anyone know why that moniker stuck?

What, no boots and Dasiy Dukes!
I hope never to outlive the appreciation of the image this conjures. No matter that age daisy dukes and cowboy boots should be totally appreciated.

Know what you mean, Marty. When our son and dil were expecting, we knew we'd love this grandbaby whether boy or girl; but we also knew that if it was a girl, we would need to learn how to do bows and tolerate lots of pink.

Of course, when we first saw Gwen we just melted. I'm learning all about bows and girly-girl things from my sister.

If Gwen's parents won't object, we'll be taking her with us on the Rainbow trail for a couple of weeks in the summer when she's a bit older.

Mimi's my name. Spoilin's my game!

Steve I know your pain cause I'm same way. Size 8DD with very high arch but I have found one brand I can wear comfortably. Try Ariats, you might be able to work with those.

OMG, Di, I can't do bows or hairdos and I hate pink. Like I said, I'm getting lessons from my sister, although she can't make me like pink. Pink belongs in sunsets and Pepto-Bismol bottles!

Now Marty, surly you jest. I wear my dress boots to church. Same identical boot, just I keep them clean and oiled!

Herbie, does your Dutch oven have the flat lid with lip or the dome lid. I've never used a dome lid at a campfire, hard to keep coals on top.

You know what would go good with cobbler would be some ice cream!
