Mel,
when I was younger, I didn't care for pink much... mom used to make us Easter dresses all the same pattern and my sister's had strawberry blonde hair, and you never stuck a red head in pink back then... I was the blonde in the middle so they got purple or blue and I always got the pink...

NOw that I'm older and wiser.... pink doesn't bother me so much and I'll wear it occasionally. Don't have a lot of it... I tend to like richer, fuller colors. (such as Dark teal as opposed to turquoise although I like turquoise just fine...LOL!)

Hey Herb !!!

Did ja see ...... You took post 33000 and you didn't even blink an eye !!!!!

When I was young and in high school I had a pair of boots and loved them .... But Marcia hated them and somehow they disappeared, now to try to find a pair to fit a size 15 foot would be way to expensive me thinks.

Cheers !!!!

I had to make an emergency run 30 some miles to care for 2 cats whose older 'mom' just got home from the rehab yesterday and then fell last night winding up back in the hospital... with the snow starting to pile up... the 'mom's' daughter didn't think the cats were left enough food and water for a few days...good thing i went... the room's door where one of them's food dish and water bowl and litter box lives was closed and kitty was practically crossing her legs.... and the emt's left the front door unlocked and all lights on. The other kitty was out of food in her room. ( they don't get along and have to live in separate home areas...) Roads were worse going than coming in some spots and coming back, I missed our driveway even though I was going at a crawl... put the brakes on and just kept sliding the wrong direction... so I decided I'd better give it some gas and keep going on the road , turn around and take it from the other direction. Planted inside pretty firm now... don't think I'll be going out again for a few day! ( oh... we have wide deep ditches)

For those who just got up from your nap, I made Toll House chocolate chip cookies, with pecans. Hot out of the oven. I tried to figure out a way to post the aroma, but I'm not that tech savvy.

Come on over. Have cold milk and hot coffee.
