Yay! I'm caught up again...

...just in time to head for bed.

S**wing again here in central Indiana, 1 to 3 inches expected. Guess I'll see in the morning how much needs to be shoveled. Night, all...

Oh yeah, foot sizes were discussed several pages ago. Currently a 14, can wear a B but usually buy a D because that's what's on the shelf. Was a 13AA in high school.

It may be the manager that sat at the back on his 4 wheeler on Mardi Gras Night...

But It's Herb...

What you get when you combine an accordion, a stand up base, a mandolin and a banjo.

For all our Steve's no matter what your name really is.

If Gwen's parents won't object, we'll be taking her with us on the Rainbow trail for a couple of weeks in the summer when she's a bit older.

Hey Mimi,

I never got the girlie gene -- probably because I'm the only girl in the family for 3 generations and I was raised in Texas. My only child, Ami, got the girlie gene and I didn't quite know what to do. She quickly schooled me in her need to have dresses that would properly twirl when she spun around and nightgowns with that silky feel.

I was lucky that there were girlie women in her life who could help me with that need. I was able to introduce her to insatiable curiosity and a love of learning. We managed to communicate well despite our differing view of the world.

Don't panic, Gwen will tell you what she needs.

Me, too! Plus I have shorter than average toes and big calves. Never could walk in boots, even if I could get them on.

One of my best childhood memories was eating Lemon Custard ice cream with brownies. YUM! One without the other was a disappointment.

I learned a lesson the hard way today. It's not wise to step into puddles barefoot in fire ant territory. We got 6" of rain today. When it finally stopped, I stepped out of the MoHo into water 3" deep. By the time I made it to high ground I was getting stung around my ankles. It seems that ants float on water. OUCH!!!

Yikes. Fire ants are the worst... I'm not sure of their purpose. Maybe they're the jalapeņo food group for ant eaters.
