Wayne - we're going to take your advice and try Alamo Fiesta on the way north. It looks like a nice place.

Looks like you will have headed back home before we get there... or we would stop in and try the base facility and vist. It's on our list to try base facilities when we can.

Enjoy!

Alamo Fiesta is okay but definitely not centrally located to San Antonio. Since you are just traveling through it will be good for you. We like Fort Sam Houston because of it's location and price. Plus the sites are long and there is at least 30 feet between RV's.

We'll be gone around the 14th.

Well we'll have Hot Springs.
We weren't really going to do San Antonio but would have like to have seen Earlene and Miya so we could have tried to get in a day or two there. I know it can be difficult at times to get a space there.

Boerne seems a good midpoint for us on the way to Dallas for a time before rolling into Hot Springs.

C'ya there.

Looking good Tom and Kim.
I took Nola to NOLA in 1990. Burned the last of the "Oh How I Hated Flying For W--k" points. Marriott on Bourbon Street, all of the food to SNARF, cajun coffee (one cup and wired for the day), and the dueling pianos at Pat O'Brien's.....
Nice pics!
Happy trails

Just met Wayne M today, which was nice. We knew we were in the same park using RVillage which is the first time we have actually met someone off of it.

We were close to meeting Diane (RVM 64) (diwizi) while in El Paso while staying at the Fort Bliss RV Park, but it just did not work out.

Hey Don and Misty,

Are you talking about his roundness, Wayne M? That's not always the reaction he gets. He must have been on his best behavior. Earlene must have threatened him.

You should join us in Hot Springs, AR next month.

Well, I was wron....er, mistaken once before. Since whe had postponed our trek everything was pushed forward a week so we actually don't leave here until the morning of the 21st. Now are you going to rethink your departure?

Actualloy getting in to Fort Sam should be easy around that time. All the Winter Texans will be packing up.

I had Miya with me so I was well behaved. Being well behaved is my normal side, as evidenced by my theme song. Don and Misty were very nice also and since we are all going to be here for another week or so I'm sure we'll see each other again.

Thank you RVillage for notifications of who is in the park. There is supposed to be someone else in the park but not a RVMutant (yet) and we'll see if we can find them.

Don and Misty, don't believe a word she says. After all, she does have a monkey for a pet. Most normal people have dogs and cats.

Don, Misty, and the children came down with the flu shortly after Fort Bliss, so all the hot air you were blowing around must have penetrated their nice RV.

Will take that under advisement Wayne. Haven't really nailed our departure down yet. We're watching the weather and want to get to Dallas not later than the 1st of April - even though we're paid up here til then.

Will keep in touch on this. If we do make it there - how many times can you visit that Korean restaurant in the same trip to SA..?
