Sue,

They grow these just west of Phoenix so I'm thinking they need summer heat. Mike started them too late in the year. Good luck! They are worth the trouble. Here's some more info:

If you can follow us vagabonds, you have earned a surrogate daughter pin. I spoil everyone, with no shame. Like s'mores?
We DO find some little visited gems, that make all of Disney (et al) stuff look like a plaster palm tree.
My kids saw Disney World and determined that a weekend camping and seeing nature and history trumped it. My grands never saw Disney stuff, and are also thrilled without.
Gotta love kids that are explorers and vagabonds. Where da heck did they get that?

We swam with Manta Rays this last Nov. I was scared at first - they were extremely friendly and after years of being careful around them it was hard to just pet them. One of the guys on our tour didn't listen very well and sort of aggravated one of them and it bit him. Good thing I didn't know till we all got back on the boat.

We put our house up for sale and will be FT in the RV till we decide where we want to have house at. Looking at TX and LA at the moment, but will take our time deciding. Who knows we may just FT it in the RV. It just about time for us to be on the road for Hunter's work. :roll eyes: Lots to think about and decide.

They do and we will soon be driving through there. I have a surgery scheduled for next month and about 2 weeks after that we hope to be off. Our son is living at our farm in Portales and we plan to drive by there if we can. If not sometime this summer. I love NM and miss the great views and food!

We are currently at Brazels for the night and heading to OR for the weekend, then back home. Hoping the house sells fast.

#107 checking in - We drove up to Spokane WA to Geocache. We are attending a cache machine. We follow a preplanned route with about a 100 other cachers from over the PNW.
