Always by the good Ole Cutter, on old man River . We worked the Mississippi from St Louis down to Vicksburg, Ms, and of course Arkansas. You probably seen the Patoka there. Bet your Mom has.

Sweet set of posts here recently (except for the one about smoothies).

Di, great pictures of the "wee ones".

Steve and Annie - - we too love great water views. Windshield or do you have to back in?

Nice to hear from Dwayne and Shara. Will miss not seein them.

Huntnski - - - any chance of parking our rigs so rigs are awning to awning? Would be neat to step out the door and face neighbors eye to eye. Sewers, etc. would need to be ambidextrous (sp).

Most border guards have bigger fish to fry than us old timers moving gently thru their stations.

I've been working on our schedule in August from Denver to Grand Junction (and beyond) along I-70. Have a few CGs that sound like winners for big rigs. We've heard that the pathway along I 70 is breathtaking.

Leave FL on April 1. Go to Indiana and then back to Hot Springs. No grass growing underfoot for us.

I havent lived there since 69, when I went to college, but i then lived down close to where the Arkansas River dumped into the MS River.... My brother is Deputy Sheriff in Helena, so bet he has.....

Dave - Helena is an old river town, (1833) lots of civil war sites, but it is very very depressed. At one time there were 50,000 living there.... And even on the opera circuit in early 1900's. Are doing more build up with the historic stuff. See Delta Cultural Center, Arkansas Dept of Heritage.
It is home of the Blues as well as the city across the river, Clarksdale, MS. King Biscuit Blues Festival
Also home of Conway Twitter (aka Harold Jenkins), and Levon Helm (The Band)

Hey Papaw Steve! The I-70 journey west of Denver is indeed breathtaking -- both in visual beauty and high altitude breathing difficulty. Slow and easy are prudent for that journey. Enjoy!

One note... We are all facing the pavilion.... If someone turns around, they will be facing the row behind them....
Tim, he is between you and Steve and Annie......

We've been to Spokane WA for a few days and then down to Lewiston ID to stay with my 91 yr old dad for a couple days. We get home to our neck of the boondocks and it is 33* and snowing. Fortunately it has already stopped. By Friday it is suppose to be back up in the mid 60's. Crazy spring weather.
