Yes I did, Tim, and thank you. I was so busy snickering at your pouring liquid on the site to check level that I forgot to answer.
Goody! That means I can keep an eye on the proceedings before I get out the door. Also when our uphill neighbors are strolling past ... Ambush!

Yes... Baked...... Since i am not into GF, i cannot say.... Would you use almond meal?
Here is my handpie page and the last of the batch... This makes about 8.... Can freeze before baking. And can refrigerate the dough and make as fresh....
DAVE is this just a sweet pasty? Down here we never called them pasties....

Having been a Scoutmaster for 20 years I took our troop up to the cavern area usually every other year during the hottest part of the summer. We camped beside the creek that ran out of the mountain, very cold water. Then we would tour the caverns, cool inside! I believe I could give the guided tour myself. The wild cave tour was lots of fun too. I reserved it for the older boys that were a little more high adventure. Don't think I could handle the pup tent anymore.
There is also the Ozark Folk Center up in that area that's a must see while up there. Then of course the courthouse grounds at Mountain View has picking and singing every Saturday night, bring your own lawn chair! That whole area is worth a day or two to explore! I don't know much about the Rv parks, we always were in tents.
