The wild cave tour was lots of fun too. I reserved it for the older boys that were a little more high adventure. Don't think I could handle the pup tent anymore.
There is also the Ozark Folk Center up in that area that's a must see while up there. Then of course the courthouse grounds at Mountain View has picking and singing every Saturday night, bring your own lawn chair! That whole area is worth a day or two to explore! I don't know much about the Rv parks, we always were in tents.

This is the one I mentioned to Sue several posts ago..... There is a nice rv park right beside the Ozark Folk Center that the guy who played music in the park where Sue was, used to live. Phew. Long sentence. Anyway it is about 30 min from my youngest son who sees patients there once a month.... Been meaning to drive up....
Ok.. Time for sleep for me....

You need to get on up here where Fleetwood's are placed on front row sites to the grandest of Curosities!

Going to be hard to leave here... beautiful Highland Chain of Lakes weather right now.
Omms for Oklahoma and other areas being hammered by mother nature.

But yeah: front row, prime, pole position for all us'ns at this prime event. Better'n lakefront, in this here case!
Pray for stamina (no disrespect intended). Ya know about turning into a punkin at midnight? Yeah, well, midnight comes earlier and earlier these days! 😴

Dave,
If you are heading east on I-10, stop at the Caverns of Sonora in Texas.
http://www.cavernsofsonora.com
It's much smaller than Carlsbad, but I was disappointed by Carlsbad by comparison. There's even a real cheap no frills campground onsite. I went there in 1961 and 2011. Did Carlsbad in the 1980's. Both Sonora trips were excellent. And it is not home to any bats. Sorry, Sue.

Now, these sites are at a pretty good angle from the road along side the pavillion. The pedestal and sewer are nearest to the pavillion road, so if you reversed your parking it will have your pedestal near your front door.
CL said they don't care how you park but I would suggest you look it over good before you pull in and start setting up. Some sites are better than others for this reverse.

Thanks, Miya will enjoy the people walking by.

What's the drinking age in Arkansas? Is it still 13 for moonshine? Sena turns 18 on 4/17 and she LOVES beer and booze.

Hmm! Drunk on very little. Very interesting. Can Sena walk you home?
===============
Dave, if you are taking I-10, stop in or around San Antonio. Do the River Walk, and also the Natural Caverns in New Braunfels.

She probably could being as it's a very short walk home from the pavilion. I'll just leave the Segway parked at home that night.
