Wayne was regaling me with war stories from his home this morning. That is until the war department got back and put an end to the silliness.

Barb - I imagine you were being somewhat in jest - but I don't think these folks have too much money. I just think they know what they like and can afford it. Nothing wrong with working hard, with honest labor and earning good money. Money is just like other things. Neither inherently good nor evil. It's how you get and use it that determines it's real value. Plenty of good done in the world with money. And plenty of bad ways to acquire and use it. I wouldn't mind having more but am happy with what I have. Had certain things not happened with my finances - I might very well be a Bus Nut. But as a mutant - I don't miss the bus I don't have.

That Guesthouse toad Steve saw? My folks used to take my aunt and uncle camping with them. The Honey towed a Scamp. Guesthouse. 😊

That toad guest house is the new version of my 1991 Airstream B Van. It was on a 1 ton Ford chassis with 460 EFI. Someone - either Annie or my daughter Meredith dubbed the B Van the Jethro Mobile. I believe it was Annie - but it stuck. Driving it through Dallas she said I looked like Jethro Bodine. Lol. Ah good times.
It didn't have a guest house. It had a bass boat. People did sleep in her though. Lol.

Which reminds me of a quote I can't quite quote nor attribute, but (why bother, some would say) anyhow:
Many people fish all their lives, never realizing it isn't fish they are seeking.
Waldon Pond comes to mind.

When they go fishing, it is not really fish they are after.* It is a philosophic meditation.* ~E.T. Brown*(Thanks, Walden Woods Project, walden.org)

Sue, that's as close to a full fledged Ponder as been posted in quit some time.
I'll add my 2¢.
I fish to gain something, sometimes it's a day in the sun with Mary, sometimes a good friend, sometimes it's to build memories with a grandchild and even sometimes it's to catch fish!

Steve... of course I thought about you guys! You be family!
Sue, have thought about that idea for taking kids with us camping, but decided they could take tents. I'm happy to cook for them some, but kind of like having the MOHO to ourselves+ Bess who sleeps in the driver's seat at night.

Nice to know that Dear Bess is in the drivers seat.
We all have a crowd of RVM Sisters and Brothers, and it warms my heart.
So, how is Honey, Sis?
Hugs!

Reminds me, I took this one on 5th Avenue in Naples this week:
