Back in those back-to-the-land days (never quiiiite a hippie, me, but close) I made yogurt too, and cheese and butter. Could buy raw milk then.

More recently I learned to make ricotta and mozzarella. W/o one's own milk cows, tho, that's a really expensive proposition! Had to quit doin that.

It was such fun, tho, to have the mixture suddenly become a ball of mozzarella! It hardly ever even made it to the fridge.

But you can ferment tea...et voilá: kombucha. And carrot tops and parsnips ferment into very nice wines. FIL used to make all sorts of strange-sounding wines that were really good.

Looks nice. Are those the tiles everyone uses (forgot the name)? Did you put a bead of silicon along the bottom to seal it?

Smart tiles... They are a gel tile that is peel and stick... Will run the caulk, not in pic yet....
Did real tiles in kitchen, but didnt have room with this sink.....

But took an hour and was $50 for the 6 tiles... Can cut with scissors.... Easy... Ordered online...

Yes...but it would take awhile to get a decent tasting one... they do that other places and make a fine one....
