A T T E N T I O N- A T T E N T I O N
This is a public service announcement and NOT, I repeat, NOT an April idiots joke!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Barb and I will not be able to attend this years Redux after all. I have just been informed that my bz. partner and BIL is going in the hospital to have a pacemaker installed and wouldn't ya know it, it's scheduled right in the middle of Redux. The nerve of that doctor to interrupt our travel plans....geesh. But I don't dare ask him to re-schedule after all he has been thru with his heart problems. One of us has to be around the office so that leaves me. So much to our sadness we must bow out gracefully. However, I know my brothers in crime Wayne and Tim will keep you mutants jumpin! Tim don't you dare use that same cheesy window treatment you used last year....you can do better than that!
Perhaps we can jump in the next scheduled event this summer. In the meantime mutants, carry on with the merriment and we will be there in spirit. Oh if anyone would like to move to our space which is right across from the Pavillion let me know so when I call to cancel our reservation I can let them know to move you. As always, those of us not present for roll-call expect to see you all posting pics like a mad dog!
You may now return to your scheduled activities.

You need to take a shot. Tequilla will do.

Allethrin has been found to be mutagenic under certain conditions in strains of the bacterium Salmonella typhinurium (3). However, 2 other tests of bioallethrin for mutagenicity (DNA damage and reverse mutation) were negative (5)."
You should not get any of it on your skin..."Allethrin is slightly to moderately toxic by dermal absorption and ingestion (2). Short-term dermal exposure to allethrin may cause itching, burning, tingling, numbness, a feeling of warmth, with no dermatitis (2). Exposure to large doses by any route may lead to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hyperexcitability, incoordination, tremors, convulsive twitching, convulsions, bloody tears, incontinence, muscular paralysis, prostration and coma (2). Persons sensitive to ragweed pollen are at increased risk from exposure to allethrin (2).
Allethrin is a central nervous system stimulant (2). Heavy respiratory exposure caused incoordination and urinary incontinence in mice and rats (2)."
It's a good thing I'm not a mouse or rat.
There..I've done my duty for today. Hope yours is sunny and mosquito free.

you're not supposed to put the Thermocell pads on your skin, or inhale them, so you should be okay - for awile.

I can blend in with you when I want. I spent the first 18 years of my life in MA, but it WAS an accident of birth.
