Settin an a-rockin and a-pickin r teefers on the porch at Cracker Barrel. Waitin to hear back from CW.

They said the parts were in and it would be about 2 hours. One and a half so far, but who's counting?

If they gitrdun soon enough, we could still get in a few miles before dusk. It's over 1,000 to CL. Yikes!

Barb, you all unhooked and reorganized? I used to keep my list taped over the door so I'd brush against it every time I went in or out. That started right after the time I forgot to unplug the power. 😳

Dave the storm you warned me about yesterday finally caught up with us! Sent Mary, me and Grand-daughter a running for the door. I knew it wasn't a good time to go walking!

I now have a new favorite place to park overnight and to shop. LOWE'S! They have FREE wifi and you don't need a password. I was able to watch the hysterical video that Possum posted. Oh yeah!!!

But where are you tonight? (Thinking Amish shop) Y'all sure know how to roll slow!

We left CW at 4:00, drove 4 hours, and are now parked behind a Cracker Barrel near Ocala. Supper was guess where?

This is horse country! Gorgeous. It could be Virginia, Maryland, or Kentucky if you take away the Spanish moss and live oaks. The fancy entry gates and fences are here, the workout tracks & the barns. Plus, there were girls wearing jodhpurs at supper. How often does one see that?!

CW couldn't find the noise Martin describes as a "box of rocks", but I finally heard it to recognize it. The awning is supposedly fixed, but we didn't think to ask for a demo ... proof. The toilet needs yet another part, a water valve, I think, which they didn't have.

So now we have an appointment with CW at Little Rock on the 23rd to get that done. Hey! They provide power and a parking place. What's not to like? Sheesh! We never will get home!

But maybe we'll get to see Di's art exhibit/home yet! (Can't hang around CW all day, can we?) Poor Di! People keep barging in ... Oh wait! We're mutants. That makes us family, don't it? Family does that! 😎

Right. The batteries have run really low, so low the inverter kicked out. The genny is running right now. The fridge went off sometime during the day and will have to be off overnight, so I'm not opening it at all. Ice cream soup, anyone? 😨😡

I'm goin ta bed! (sulk) Battery lights to read, knit or braid cord by while Martin reads. We'll be fine. Hopefully we won't wake up to flat batteries in the morning.

Sleep well, y'all!
