This is horse country! Gorgeous. It could be Virginia, Maryland, or Kentucky if you take away the Spanish moss and live oaks. The fancy entry gates and fences are here, the workout tracks & the barns. Plus, there were girls wearing jodhpurs at supper. How often does one see that?!

CW couldn't find the noise Martin describes as a "box of rocks", but I finally heard it to recognize it. The awning is supposedly fixed, but we didn't think to ask for a demo ... proof. The toilet needs yet another part, a water valve, I think, which they didn't have.

So now we have an appointment with CW at Little Rock on the 23rd to get that done. Hey! They provide power and a parking place. What's not to like? Sheesh! We never will get home!

But maybe we'll get to see Di's art exhibit/home yet! (Can't hang around CW all day, can we?) Poor Di! People keep barging in ... Oh wait! We're mutants. That makes us family, don't it? Family does that! 😎

Right. The batteries have run really low, so low the inverter kicked out. The genny is running right now. The fridge went off sometime during the day and will have to be off overnight, so I'm not opening it at all. Ice cream soup, anyone? 😨😡

I'm goin ta bed! (sulk) Battery lights to read, knit or braid cord by while Martin reads. We'll be fine. Hopefully we won't wake up to flat batteries in the morning.

Sleep well, y'all!

Family fer sure..... Smile....

Many are busy readying for G 1.2 Redux. Others getting Rainbow Riders ready for spring. And some are lurking. And some have apparently disappeared for the time being.
Maybe it's time for a roll call to be sure our mutant family is still checking in...

Mutant roll call... Sound off!!

RVM2 - Steve and Annie here and rolling 106 miles later today.

Stopping at Mount Pleasant KOA for 2 nights. Then on to G 1.2 Monday morning!

Good morning Muteys! Can you believe I'm the second poster of the morning? Lily heard a garbage truck and just had to announce it. And now I'm awake and she is passed out beside me. Oh well, we gots some driving to do this morning. Hmm, I wonder if I can find Sue and Martin. They have to be close to us. Hey Sue! What route are you taking to CL? Maybe we can caravan. I've got to decide soon if I'll take the all interstates route which routes me thru Atlanta, groan, or risk state highways thru Mississippi. Oh the humanity!

I'm here, today is mainly prep'g for the trip to CL. Going to clean off the jacks, pull them up, start the big diesel up and make sure air systems, etc. are all set. Also need to check my umbilical cord to the toad to make sure my 12v charger is operating correctly. Rest of the day will be cleaning, organizing stuff for Wednesdays start of the trip.

Barb - I've stayed at Lowe's (or Home Depot, one of them) in the past and I liked it a lot. Pretty quiet way out in the parking lot and at the time, I needed some parts for things and that made it convenient when I got up in them morning.

1 here.
Will prep for the big move to CL tomorrow, a grueling 11 mile jaunt.
All of this prepping and cleaning by y'all makes me feel guilty! Gwen is clean inside, but the patina outside has only been abated by about 75% by the storms. She is greenish from pollen. Hate to disturb it.
Happy and Safe Trails, folks!

I'm here for a little while. Start loading up today. Hoping the weather will hold of as predicted until 4 p.m.

Jeannie, Miya didn't get her bath yesterday. Showed up and her shots were not up-to-date (mine are). I forgot to take the new paperwork with me. Tell ranger not to fret, she has another appointment today at 1 p.m.

Got an outside bay just for Sparky's treasures?
