Thanks, Di! Sounds like a camper's desert. Tim got us re-thinking our route. Hope Winona is better!

All roads lead to CL. Unless you're going somewhere else....

Mel, I've been told if you are in a campground and have a problem, just grab a wrench and stand outside looking confused. In no time you'll have all the guys gathered around offering advice, parts, help ....

Beer and piņa coladas generally welcome!

Di, I think of Larry's heart ailment almost every time I read one of your posts. Puts everything in perspective. I bet you my last paycheck that you treasure every single day with your handsome, sweet guy. What a gift our spouses are to us. We should never take them for granted.

Ommms to your son. Hopefully, he'll be fine and back to his normal, busy life very soon.

You made me laugh out loud. I have my wrench in my tool chest in one of the bays. I'm going to Specs tomorrow and buy more adult beverages. We should be good.

Everyone is welcomed to bring lawn chairs and park it around bow to watch the action. I'll be blending Pina Coladas for your enjoyment. Kate will help me pass them out. (Note to self: When at Specs, get a sleeve of 100 or so cups for PCs. And get little colored umbrellas for Wayne, Tim, Dave and Steve.)

Mel,

Looking over the pics, it appears that someone fixed it once before. It appears that there are 3 different types of pipe that were used, but NO problem.

Not remembering your pics from you first got it, I need to ask if the kitchen is on a slide out? I'm just trying to understand the reason for the flexible hose.

Me too Larry. Looks almost like our built in Dirt Devil vaccum hose. Maybe that's what was handy.

Wayne, just the edge of the end of that white pipe was resting on the drawer runner when I pulled the drawer out. I'm about to go back out to the coach now and will check, but I don't think the drawer will go in all the way with that pipe going through the space. When I was trying to push the white pipe back toward the black pipe, it just popped over into the drawer space.

I think that the white pipe would not go over to the black. It appears to be to much of a turn, stressing the white pipe. With age those accordion type pipes can harden and it is easy to shatter one. We'll see when you get to CL.

If they don't then I suspect that the black pipe will rotate to meet the white pipe, but that is only if they stayed true to most drain systems and (old tyme engineers) did not glue the pipes in place.

The piece with the chunk out does not appear to be the problem. You can see where the line is when the two pipes were connected (no glue). Check to see if the drawers clear the white pipe. If they do, GENTLY see if you can rotate the black pipe at any of the elbows.

Questions: Where does that straight pipe under the sink come from? It also drains through the separated pipe.
I'll let you know the answer to this one in a bit. (Forgot to mention the busted spray nozzle on the wand by the toilet. Going to CW to get a replacement nozzle right now.)

Probably to late, but in case - change the hose to the spray nozzle if you can. Those also harden with age and can crack. While talking about hoses, in the S&B change the riser hose going up to the tank on the toilet. then can also crack with age. (Go ahead, ask me how I know.) Replace with the metal reinforced hose. Same with the MH. We can check it all at CL.

Run the bathroom sink and see if water comes out the black broken piece. Run the shower and see if it comes out the broken piece. If any do, don't use - the experts will fix at CL.
I'll check the shower and bathroom sink in a few minutes. I'll be back here in an hour or two to report my findings, and hopefully tell you that I found a replacement spray nozzle and attached it.

Oops! To late.

(Not Clear Creek)

Dwayne, You're never around when you are needed - hurry up and get on the road. Let us know where you are headed and we'll just follow - in case.

Mel,

p.s., I can't fix your plumbing problem because I cannot squeeze thru that drawer space. I don't know of any mutants that can. Maybe some that we haven't met yet.

Larry
Larry and guys, yes, the kitchen is in the slide. But the white grey-water hose seems to be anything but flexible.

You can see the fresh water line zip-tied to the grey water hose. I thought about cutting the zip-tie to see if that would allow me to move the white hose. But, I'm not touching it. You guys know what you're doing with this kind of thing and I don't. (Besides, the Arther Itis makes it really hard to get up and down. He has taken over both knees and my left hip. Nasty booger, he is!)

We have another issue. I took the cracked sprayer (hangs beside toilet and looks just like the sprayer at your kitchen sink) to CW and they no longer carry that kind -- "discontinued" I was told. Went to Home Depot and the guy laughed. So, I'm thinking we cant even use ANY water on the way to CL because if you turn on the water, the end of the line that held the sprayer just spews water everywhere. I'll put up pictures in a bit.

Sigh. Murphy's law.

Mel

Marty, we love learning stuff like that also, that's why we offer to fix it. That way, we learn by our own mistakes, so when we need to do work on our rigs, we know what NOT TO DO!!!!!!!!

[just kidding Mel]
