Colleen (Sohapi) we may be in the same neck of the woods by mid May. I'd love to see if we can work out a mini-C.

Mel, last item, I promise! doing some research, your leak under the sink and pipe joints pulling apart is very common. Many different reasons given, but the fix solutions are all the same:
Weak seals,
Improper sealant/cement used for the joints,
And so on & on.

I was wrong about the different types of pipes shown in your pics. The RV manufacturers all did/do it that way, using different types.

Anyway, the fix shouldn't be too hard, other then getting in there & reaching the joints. If it gets too cramped, we'll just Tim's chainsaw & cut a hole in the side of the RV.

BTW, do you have a pic of the hose for the toilet wash?

Cool! So you'll be in WY? We should head out mid May for DH work. We'll be in Gillet - that would be fun!

Re 2013 Thor Tuscany VIN 4UZAB2BS0BCBE5091
CW Care Service Agreement No. 229957

Customer: Martin & Sue Cutter
Dear Sir,
My wife and I are rather upset.
We brought our RV in on 8 April for three warranty fixes.
  • Completion of the repair to the rear awning that was started last December.
  • Repair of the malfunctioning macerator toilet.
  • Identification of and repair to whatever was causing the rumbling noise under the front end (what I likened to a box of rocks being shaken about)
We had to wait two days while parts for the awning were obtained, (to replace the parts we were told had been incorrectly ordered after our December visit). You also had to order parts for the toilet which turned out not to effect the repair. Jason then arranged for CW at Little Rock to take us in on 23 April to complete the toilet repair.
The current situation regarding the two other items is this.
Jason assured us that the awning repair was complete and that no fault was found that would cause the noise from under the front end (your driver stated he could not hear anything)
We have just parked up in a KOA campground and, with the sun shining on the passenger side, my wife decided to deploy the awnings. Nothing happened. Zilch. None of the awnings will move. I checked and found one of the 12v fuses had blown. I fitted a replacement and it blew.
Will you please ask Jason to contact Little Rock CW to trace and fix the short circuit.
With regard to the front end rumble, despite what your driver says, it is still very noticeable, if not getting worse. I intend to make an audio recording of the noise on our journey to Little Rock and play it to the service guy there. Would Jason please let them know that I wish them to track this problem down and fix it.
Regards.
Martin Cutter.

Sheesh! 😡 Someway, somehow, there's been a short circuit introduced where there wasn't one before. Our bad for not making sure it was okay before we left.

Lesson learned! It's how we roll!

Rain over, and the swallows are flittering all around the place, twittering nonstop. I imagine when mosquito season gets in full swing, they'll earn their keep. There are at least 4 poles topped with white gourd nesting "boxes" for them right down by the waterside.

Going for a walk. C'ya!

We had a little rain come through this evening.
When it rains in Texas, it rains.
We made it back home from dinner just in time for my son to move his car into the driveway.
Left to right: 1: MH in driveway, water up to tires.
2: Neighbor's back yard and some of ours.
3: Son's car
4: Calf deep
Moved just in time. 10 minutes later and his floor board would have been flooded.

Mel,

The fix I'm pretty sure will be easy enough to do, the bathroom sprayer is also an easy fix, the best place to find the part will be at an RV parts store but more than likely not a CW. In fact once I had a CW employee tell me to go to Ace Hardware, go figure eh.

Just go to the Redux as is you will get fixed up, just rough it the best you can on the way there, I'm serious you won't regret it one bit.

Cheers !!!

You can see the fresh water line zip-tied to the grey water hose. I thought about cutting the zip-tie to see if that would allow me to move the white hose. But, I'm not touching it. You guys know what you're doing with this kind of thing and I don't. (Besides, the Arther Itis makes it really hard to get up and down. He has taken over both knees and my left hip. Nasty booger, he is!)

We have another issue. I took the cracked sprayer (hangs beside toilet and looks just like the sprayer at your kitchen sink) to CW and they no longer carry that kind -- "discontinued" I was told. Went to Home Depot and the guy laughed. So, I'm thinking we cant even use ANY water on the way to CL because if you turn on the water, the end of the line that held the sprayer just spews water everywhere. I'll put up pictures in a bit.

Sigh. Murphy's law.

Mel
Mel, Murphy was an optimist!

Temporary fix for spray - two ways - Go to hardware store and buy some plumbers tape - not black tape - specifically ask for plumbers tape. Where the spray head is start about 3-4 inches back and start winding the tape and pulling it over itself then up around the hose end. That should hold for short term usage.

Or, take the hose to the hardware store. Tell them you want to cap off the spray head. It may require cutting the head off down the hose a few inches. then putting a plumbing cap in the hose and tighening the hose against it with a small radiator clamp, one of those thing-a-ma-jiggies that has holes in it and you tighten it with a screw driver.

Or, if you need the sprayer and you can afford the cost of ruining one, buy a new one. Use a piece of copper tubing and splice the two together again clamping them with hose clamps. The people in the hardware store should be able to help you.

When we all get to CL I'll supervise and the Mr. Fix-its can do their thing.

Real sorry to hear of the problems and I can really sympathize. It is a strange word when we pay so much for our toys only to have them break. However, it is a rolling earthquake.

Starkville MS is home to Mississippi State University.... Has the best farming program and vet school. They make wonderful cheese and sell on campus.... They also have one if the best Biological Engineering Depts in US, which is what youngest son graduated with degree in. Nice campus......

And a heads up..... There is not much more in between you and CL. You are at least 6 hours pure driving time away from Hot Springs... Probably a little far for one day push. But right before you cross the Mississippi River is another casino with free overnight, Harlows Casino. A decent WalMart in Pine Bluff.... On the 530 west bypass

It is actually a few miles shorter thru Memphis, but I 30 was a mess of construction last time i went.... I would rather drive west on 82 to Greenville, then cross over and go north on 65, on west side of Pine Bluff take 270 west to Hot Springs... Flat as a pancake... That is the delta....

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

Short post for now, Mary's driving so...35008, 35009... Sue if you had come with us you'd almost be there or you could of overnight at Tom Sawyer. Mel I have no confidence in the repair this group will attemp but it should be fun to watch! Remember I have sledgehammer, chainsaw and bucket! 35010, 35011...now if there is anything you know about me from reading my post is I'm trustworthy, cause I told you I was! I'll throw in some bailing wire, we may need to hang bucket under edge of MH while you travel! 35012 almost home.

Hey Dave RVM1, are you at CL? If so would you ask the office person who handles our group to PLEASE call me. I've tried 4 times to give them a deposit without success. It seems only 1 lady is authorized to deal with us -- she must be the thick skinned one -- and she didn't call me "right away" as promised on Friday. Thanks!

Evenin Muteys!

Sorry for my absence from at least checking in but it's been a rough week around this part of the rainbow. After we left GD's ball tourney two weeks ago my left leg started hurting so bad I could'nt hardly walk on it. I didn't know what to think since I had not twisted or hit it on anything. After three days of throbbing pain I went to see my doc who immediately sent me over for a Doppler scan. Wouldn't ya know it....a dang bloodclot in my leg of apparently sizable portion. Fortunately it was sub cutaneous rather than deep vein which means it has very little danger of getting to my heart or lungs. It was however pretty painful because it ran on the inside of my leg from the groin to the ankle and was quite swollen. I've been on two shots per day in my stomach and now on blood thinners and the pressure has lessened greatly to the point I can walk on it again without a limp. I've got to get up and movin so my partner can keep his date to have a jumper cable put on his heart next week.

I will really miss seeing all of you at the Redux this year. I know your going to have a great time and I sure wish we could be with you. Mel tough it out till ya get Bow to CL and the guys will fix her right up for ya. Ifin I were there I would be right in the middle of that but trust Larry, he can get ya fixed right up. Just ask Di to show you what he did to the inside of their rainbow rider....he does great work! Wayne does Citrus have pontoon floats under her belly? Judging from those pics you may have to float her out! Hope you got the jack problem resolved.

You all be safe out there and keep postin pics so usins can keep up with youins.
