MMM green beans with bacon and onions in them are good add a little vinegar and brown sugar... it fits her diet description..... green pina coladas.... get a green colored pistachio cake or something...with green ice cream too... see... you can make it work!
JK of course, but I do worry about you fellas.... in retirement, we all think we will have time to get fit and lose a few pounds , but all that eating out gets in the way I am afraid.
I hope your partner's procedure goes well... then you can relax a bit and your blood pressure will get a bit lower and you can enjoy life a little more... and if Barb has her way, you'll be able to do more fun things if you lose a few too. I've lost 50 since the last CL curiosity. Still have almost that many to go to get where I otter be... so know you aren't alone in all this!

Hooray and woot! Woot! Steve and Annie crossed the finish line!

We're within 60 miles, on 270 out of Pine Bluff.

However, there seems to be trouble, I say trouble, right here in River City.

The engine battery was running down, beeping at us, power fault light on, inverter off. Fridge off, of course, but worse was whether the engine would stop.

We made a brief pause at a truck stop and turned on the genny. Now we're back on the road and power seems to be restored. It's reading 13V, as it should.

Still, we aren't stopping till we get to CL and not shutting the engine off till we get safely into site #8!

Takes all colors to make a rainbow! 😳

Sue... ohms to the batteries... steady as she goes. We slow poked in the rain...

Rain didn't dissuade RVM1 from lending a hand with ground support hookups. What a mutant! What a Poobah...

I'm 1,000 miles away from CL Stuck doing that w thing until I can leave Wednesday morning. It'll be a long drive but my plan is to be there sometime Thursday.

So is premature death!

It's time to think like your wives guys or at the very least if it's still causing a problem in a few hours get help. BUT in the case of heart or stroke symptoms DON'T Even think about waiting. What symptoms? As Dunner was fond of saying, "Google is your friend." Look it up and learn what you need to know to save your life! I want you all to outlive me and I plan to be the first in my family to hit 100. You've only gotta make it another 27 years.

We just crossed the Alabama state line and are at the Mississippi Welcome Center on I-22. We won't be there until tomorrow. It has rained on us all day, but most of it has been light. It's stopped for now. I'm sure the rain will return once I start driving again.

Don't have too much fun without me.

Congrats Marty, that's great!

I recently went to Dr thinking I was really doing good. I had lost 16 lbs and really feeling good. Problem was at the Dr's office he said looks like your only up a couple pounds since last year, meaning I had gained 18 to start with!
