The pulled pork recipe was borrowed from the Aces High Bar and Q in Rope Light Gulch. The beef was smoked in RVM Oak and Pecan and spritzed with apple juice.

Larry paved the way for us to "almost" complete the job. We found out late last evening that there was a slight drip under the sink. I can understand that for two reasons. First, we wiggled and jiggled the connections to stressing points trying to get the broken drain repaired. Something had to give. Second, Dave touched it last.

She said she was going to lei all the guys. I guess she did cause they are all wearing leis. And all the ladies had pretty flowers in their hair. I think even Coleen's two dates had flowers going for them.

I can't wait to join you guys in the future when I am retired. Looks like a blast and lots of good eats. Have fun and eat some pork for me.

Well it looks like another successful Mutant gathering has come and gone. I'm certain that the memories of new found friends, old acquaintances, fantastic food, great fun and good times will be enough to carry you thru till the next "swarming" of mutants takes place in Bryce Canyon. Roll on you Mutants till you cross paths again somewhere on the rainbow. Have fun and mutate!

I don't think they all are disbanding until Wednesday or so... There were a few who could only make it a few days...

If you ask him real nice, Carl might post some of the pics he took of us kayaking yesterday. Lily went with me, but since I have destroyed my lifetime limit of electronics, I left my phone/camera home, and there aren't any pics of Carl.

Lily slipped off the bow of my yak and into the very cold lake. She had her life jacket on and at first swam towards the shore. When I called her she realized I was closer than the shore so she turned around and swam towards me. I grabbed the jacket's handle and put her on my lap and got to share that lovely cold water. We both shivered on our way back to the dock. Note to self: Take towels in plastic bag when yaking.
