Glad all the Mutants are ok. That's a lot of damage. Hope you get them weather tight soon.

Others did help, but the above 3 was everywhere. They must have some Arkie blood in them!!!!!

Sure wish Mel & Kate would check in....

Dwayne, you have been missed from the beginning, but even more so, in the past 2 days.

Jeff, thanks for telling us that you know how to do the replacements. So, get your butt on a plane & get on down here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love my ZeeLarry.... Missed him at Cajun BOILERS tonight, he was too pooped to go. Thank you for those that went....

I was the Su mechanic. I passed things up tot Dave when he asked for them and I made sure his foot hit the top rung of the step ladder when he was coming down the RV ladder. I told him (and Jeannie - she was up on their roof a couple times) that if they fell I would catch them.....for 1 second then they would hit the ground. It never happened, thank you Lord.

Ed and Dave were the real life savers for the day. Thank you to both.

Hey CL RVM family ...
Kate & Mel checking in. We got home around 4pm, unloaded Bow and had her in her doghouse at the RV storage place around 5. (She knew she'd been a bad girl, giving all the guys such a hard time all week!)

Sunday night, we made Bonham, TX and just boon-docked in the Walmart parking lot. No problems. Showered, played a game of Canasta and slept like babies. Left around 8:15 and made several stops on the way home. Ate lunch at the Rock Inn Café in Seymour. Out-of-this-world beer-battered onion rings.

We tried to keep up with the weather around Hot Springs, but we don't have Sat radio in Bow and the plain 'ol radio wasn't yielding much that we could find.

From the sound of it in these posts, y'all had a pretty hefty storm blow through. And OMG, Jeannie, what the heck were you doing up on the roof of that coach?! You're not big enough to be a paper weight, girl! I bet Dave tried and gave up on keeping you off that roof. I guess if you'd blown away, someone would've posted all about it and put 5 pictures of you waving as you flew over Lake Catherine.

We had such a great time with our new Mutant family at CL! Kate put aside her introverted tendencies and really stretched herself for 3 days. Now that we're home, I probably won't see her for 2 days while she recovers.

There are just no words to adequately thank all of you who worked so long and hard to fix many of Bow's aches and pains and breaks and leaks. We had nary a problem all the way home! Thank you for all the tips, advice, words of wisdom, spare parts, empathy, sandwiches (Erlene!) and diligence (you guys were not about to give up on that plumbing!). Kate & I are simply overwhelmed at your outpouring of kindness and generosity.

We came away from CL feeling like our family has grown considerably! And we look forward to many more family gatherings through the years.

Mel

Oh, and one more thing ... next time, I will bring my guitar so I can play with Dave and Sue. We will, no doubt, have talent scouts hoofing it over to hear us, then offer us a lucrative recording contract.

Dave, I don't think I mentioned this yet, but you have a really nice voice. A word of advice, though: Get out that git-fiddle a little more often and serenade your sweetie! She loves hearing you sing, I betcha. Just surprise her once in a while.

Maybe we can do Silver Wings next time.

We missed it, really. Just got into a little bit of rain and not much at all. We were fortunate!

So sad to hear about all the damage everyone took to coaches and toads. But, sounds like y'all bucked up and, true to mutant nature, jumped in to help one another. What a family!

Soooo glad you checked in, and pleased you made it home w/o incident. We had enough incident here for all of us!

Yes, please, guitar next time! Haven't heard Dave's voice or his guitar yet and would like to. (I can only chord along, but would enjoy the opportunity. And then I only have 2 songs under my fingers at the moment. Could always just play the spoons and annoy everyone.)

Glad you could come for a while, miss the hail party, and get home safely. Your mutant family was concerned. Here's to next time!

Love and Ohms to all of you that weathered that weather. Barb and I could have made a tag team "No Knees" roof repair team if we could have made it. We here in the far north are so very happy everyone safely made it through the trials and tribulations of the ReDux in Catherine's Landing. I have a sneaky feeling that place is jinxed to us mutants. Don, it was great to see you checking in too. See y'all before September if all things go well.

Sorry to hear of all the grief the hailstorm's wrath caused. Glad no one was hurt. Well wishes for speedy repairs and hopes that the wallet doesn't suffer greatly because of it.

Man that was some "hail from the bowels of hell"! (Is that possible?)

Man am I tired, neck sore too! I've spent the day walking up and down the row of rainbow riders checking on the repair progress! All that looking up as others were on roofs kind of made a creek in my neck. I found that if I carried something in my hands, a tool, storm debre or rebuild supplies I felt better about myself! Others were usually cordial as I walked up and I know they appreciated my advice, I heard several times, as I walked away, "Thank God ".

I had to step in a few time to help separate Wayne and Dave, even threatened to bring in both the Army and the Navy if they didn't settle down!

Kept Ed hoppin, would be talking to him while he was on a roof only to find he had moved two coaches over!

Wasn't sure if Rvm1 was building a flower bed or stone wall, but watched as he unloaded a wheel barrel load of rocks off his roof!

Some to bed early, some out to eat, a few up late at campfire, mutant ville at its best!

Yes, tired. I have sore muscles where I didn't know I had them!
Some of us folks with limitations are grateful to have heros nearby. Thanks so much, Ed!
Somehow I think we were meant to be tested for our RVM family spirit, and it showed itself in grand fashion!
2 roof vents and 3 A/C covers on order, and a temp skylight in place. Ed and I may patent it.

May you all have a speedy recovery of RVs, toads and minds. It is unlucky when that which can precede a rainbow can be so...not fun.

Well said, Don, and thanks!
You and Sandee were missed here.
