Why worry about time when you're retired??
It's easier to check my watch then the iPhone when someone "interesting" asks me what time is it.

Grew up in the computer industry from the time when machines the size of 40 refrigerators had about one tenth the power of my previous i3. My i6 is now giant leaps above that.
I operated and repaired those monsters back when, and loved it all, but love the "easy" that has evolved.
Apple is more user-friendly to this ever-mutating brain.
Taught computers for Adult Ed at the College in TX. Now remember, this was 1984. The course was on the Commodore 64 (First computer I operated was a Honeywell 6060. First computer I ever used BASIC on was a TRS-80). When asked whether to purchase a PC or a MAC, my reply was to ask what it was going to be used for. If common everyday use such as word processing (Internet was 300baud modems back then) and generalization, then a PC would more than suffice. If the use was for graphic design, photograph, vector analyisis, then a MAC would be better suited. Although the PC has come a long way I personally do not believe it has the same quality as a MAC, and with the new Retna Display the graphics on the mac are superior to the presentation on a PC. I'm sure the argument will go on and on. Anyone that I know that has switched to Apple products are glad that they did. The present technology in smart phones is basically the same, but for me, the iPhone is a simpler item to use.

LOL! Dave you and Nola find some of the funest stuff to go do! A baked bean museum -- who knew?

It's rainy and 52 degrees in OKC with a side order of constant thunder. Lily has herself squarely planted between my knees regardless of where I am. She is fearless when chasing coyotes and squirrels but terrified of cloud bowling.if only I could find her thundershirt.

I knew it, Dave, a man of your height and stature should definitely be a bit under 300,000 beans!!!
