Good morning mutants! 123 miles to go today. Slow rolling on the rainbow.

Birds are singing and a gaggle o' geese are making a racket on Lake Pauline. I could sit here for days. They opened a club in the office - full bar and 3 slot machines. Nothing fancy - 3 big screen tvs but nice place. While the sites are close - it's typical of older parks designed for smaller units. And yet the pull throughs are very long. Could really make this a **** with $ and time - but with 44 long pull throughs they have what they need.

It's hard to leave this one!

Hey all, hail damage to the car was $1k more than the MH, not counting any supplemental damage the repair place finds. So $28k for MH, and $38k for car.

Hmmm! Wonder what that does to depreciation! Hee hee!

Wow, did they total the car? That seems to be quite high. And I guess you got a lot more damage than I on your RV, I replaced all the plastic parts up above for around $600. What else suffered damage on your RV to amount to that much $$$?

Took my car to the repair place yesterday for a estimate, the guy wouldn't touch it till the insurance company gave him the go-ahead. So now I'm waiting for some adjuster to come by and look at the car themselves before being able to proceed. Some are saying it might be declared totaled if the cost of repairs is too high. It seems to be a state-by-state thing in terms of the rules they have to follow to declare it a "total" wreck or not.

We may be relating to El Paso for a few years. So any experiences that people have had would be great.

Not sure we will buy a S&B for a while though. Actual work place will be a bit north of El Paso, so we are scooping out options.

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

Diane did you find lots to do around there?

We are flying out next week for a prospective job change. El Paso is one of the suggested places to live and base out of.

The work place is north of El Paso. I am going to go with so I can scope out the areas and see what we think about the areas and options.

Hoping all goes well and Hunter gets the job. We really want to move south - this is really south lol.

Well.... Not sure... Since i was at dental... Didnt do a lot os sightseeing.
The border is right downtown...
We did spend a coupke of days doing the mission trail.
Most of what we saw was the base... In terms of size, it is one of the largest bases in the U.S. but it was easy to get to ... W had traveled through.. Close to NM, AZ, long way across texas.... Small mountains... Dry desert like landscape... Went to the mall once, it was good size.
Thought it was easy to drive in, and I did go by myself several places...
Restaurants we ate at were ok... Hard finding a tamale, believe it or not.....
If you need dental work, i used a great dentist, they pick you up and bring you back.... She lives in El Paso....

Hi, Wayne. Talk to you adjuster/agent about residual value payment. If a CarFax shows wreck repair, the difference in pre-damage value and diminished resale value can be significant. When my neighbor creamed my car, we got a hefty check.

Elizabeth.
