Wayne, what's the 28k on MH cover. Toppers? Vents? New roof?
I'm still waiting to hear back from adjuster!

Hmmm! Wonder what that does to depreciation! Hee hee!

So the car is totaled? And the MH will have a rebuilt title? Also what she said about price loss they must pay you that too.

We were traveling west on I-10 and just exited the Achafalaya Basin bridge near Breaux Bridge LA. Decided to fill up with gas since we could see bad weather approaching and pulled into a station. During the walk-around we noticed that our Jeep toad had a low tire on the front passenger side and was leaking down FAST.
It went totally flat while we were filling with fuel, and the rainstorm blew in, soaking us to the bone while we tried to get moved out of the fuel lane by unhooking the Jeep. We finally maneuvered the coach and the Jeep out of the way and called Coach-net since the gas station did not have full service. (In fact, it was attached to a casino!) We had road service in less than 30 minutes from Coach-net, including the tire change.
We were so wet and tired that we pulled to the back of the casino lot with other RVs, bought sandwiches from the Quiznos next door, and watched the rain before going to bed. We are so thankful that we made it across that 18-mile swamp bridge without incident! (Not to mention bumper-to-bumper rush hour in Baton Rouge.)
Here's the bridge and approaching weather...

Omg, Sarah! This sounds like a chapter from Murder at Ropelight Gulch.

Hi Mel! The big birthday is tomorrow. We are about set up and ready for a little relaxation this afternoon. Then we get lots of family time with Annies mom and dad.
BTW - Chicago may be the windy city but from Effingham all the way here - crosswinds were blowing at a good clip. Not a continuous or troubleaome problem, but keeps ya alert. Lol.
