I don't condemn pit bulls or any breed of dog -- just the stupid or evil people who don't handle them responsibly. Pits have very powerful jaws and all dogs have some instinct to fight -- even 8 pound Lily. All animals are like loaded guns. They should always under the supervision of a responsible adult and be properly secured at all times. What would have happened if instead of Earlene and Miya that Pit Bull had gone after a child?

Jade is a remarkable creature and Dwayne you have trained her well. We will always love her!

Healing Ohmmms to Earlene and Miya.

OMG! Earlene, I just saw Wayne's post. What a horrible ordeal for you and for Miya. I'm so glad to hear that you both are OK. Take good care.

We're doing fine up here in Illinois. I do have a cough and cold, and Annies dad was put in the hospital this morning. Eek. Not sure what's wrong with him at this point. We are expecting to move to Amana Colonies on Thursday but that may change. Other than that, we're doing pretty well.

Oh my; I hope all goes well for Annie's dad. My best wishes to him and to Annie and you.

We are about to depart for Pendleton Lakes COE near Dumas AR; keeping an eye on the weather. My sister and BIL are meeting us there for a few days; they are enroute to Jackson Hole. They wanted us to go with them but we aren't ready for a long trip at this point.

Thanks Sarah. It'll all work out I'm sure.

Don't know if you've done the Tetons before or not, but they're my favorite place. It's a beautiful place. Have fun.

Earlene, what a frightful experience. Mary Ann and I are sending healing ohms to you and Miya. Miya was unbelievably lucky to have YOU at her side at that very minute. You are a very loving and feisty lady all in one package. Way to go girl!!!!!!

Wayne, it's time to give some special attention to Earlene. Give her and Miya some special, but gently applied, hugs for all of us mutants. I'm sure that Wayne is capable of doing his duty in taking care of you and your fur kid. Get well and don't overdo.

Quick question: How did you ever hear about Pendleton COE ??

We stayed there several months back & loved watching the barges & relaxed..

Best place to eat is a little warehouse like building in Pickens..

Ever been there??

Have a great trip !!
