Howdy folks!! RVM9 checking in!

Been hiding out... not doing anything fun and the trailer is just sitting... Hubby's job is keeping him way too busy.

On a bright note... I'm taking a free class online to learn to program in Python. why do I do this to myself?
Hey, glad you're back, even for a quick chat. How's that class going for you? It sounds time consuming. And brain draining. (DH used to speak of things giving him "brain ache".)Best if luck with it.

Keep in touch when you can.

Cheers!

It's been almost 2 yrs since I have been close to my kids. Wow I'm so jacked up and I'm on my first cup of coffee. And they have no idea daddy's on his way.

It's not Catherines Landing - but we could host a curiosity on our patio here in Marble Falls.

And while we don't have Alcoas - Bonita got the spa treatment yesterday and shined up nicely.

The little Chrysler 200 rental car is a pretty nice car. Don't think they tow - but until we find our Wrangler it's a good option for us.

We had a Deuce come through this morning checking the park out. They left their Motorhome at home in Co Springs and are driving er to an all Deuce rally at Hyatt Lost Pines down the road a piece. Had a nice chat with em and remembering my dad and his '29 Ford Panel Delivery. It was a great hot rod and he really enjoyed it and rally's up until his passing. It would have been a nice trailer queen of a toad - but it was really like a Motorhome in a way - needed to be driven - alot!

Well the list of attendees for the Grand Curiosity 2014 is growing! No doubt we will all have a rip-roaring time (hmmm now there is a ponder...rip-roaring) and we hope more of you will add this event to your calendar next year.

Dates: April 24-30, 2014
Location: Catherine's Landing, Hot Springs AR.
(866)929-7590

We have 19 lakeside spaces and 6 PULL THRU/ Back In spaces reserved along with private use of Pavillion and Meeting Room. We can adjust that number up if need arises (and I hope it does). As soon as I get the documents from Catherine's Landing I will post so attendees can begin to formally sign up and pick your space. You will be required to post a deposit of one day's rental to hold your space and you will call the park direct your self to do that. I will provide them your name and space number and they will confirm back to me your reservation. I will post a park map with our block of spaces for you to choose from. They have offered us a discounted rate of $28- per day lakeside and $26- per day for others. We must have a minimum of 10 attendees and so far we have 12 so we are good to go. All deposits are refundable up to three days before the event.

I will also provide directions to the park that are easiest to get too. First time we stayed there I followed my Magellon and wound all thru a residential area with low hanging trees and tight spaces to get there. They said they were trying to get all GPS systems to route a much easier way with no hazards. So I have better directions to post.

Listed Attendees Thus Far:

CampDaven #01- Most Illustrious Potentate
Flaggship #01- Grand Poobah
Wayne M #14
Kscrude #17
okmunky #18
Oldme #20
SkyBoss #22
HerbnBarb #31
huntnski #32
PTjeep #39
MartySQ #45
Cnkinthebus #50

Contact me by private message if you can attend so I can add you to our list. You don't want to miss out! The Grand Poobah is busy mutating and pondering some great muse for our first conclave. Let's make this one for the archives of IRV2. Be there or be square!

If the April Curiosity is this exciting 7 months from the starting date, imagine what the last week will be? And the actual event
