I Should Have Said 30feet Clearer :)
From the camping trip that almost was....
Three views of Millers Creek Campsite on the Lower Campbell Lake area and a picture of a granddaughter and her guy.
The site they reserved for us was immediately taken when they realized I had said 30 and not 13 as was written. Still got to see the gang and visit for a bit.

I hear ya bro.
I had more SLR bodies and lenses than many pros, and 20lb tripod (no quick release). And over 30K pics later, I have a $300 Canon and a $20 collapsable tripod (w/quick release)....for long shots. And 95% of my pics are with iPhone.
Had to go "minimal" for our current venue, ya know.
OTOH, your T157 can be had for about 35 bucks now. Or search for the release.
Best wishes, pal.
Do you do well on Easter egg hunts?

There's a play afoot to take our friends Chuck and Judy to the Field of Dreams on Friday. If you build it they will come...

Correcting above... it's Meskwaki... and about an hours drive. Nice casino. Had a great soup and sandwich for luck. Was much better way to spend the day than sitting in Bonita listening to the rain.
The trip and sandwich paid off too. Found a friendly penny machine - if 3 bucks a throw is friendly... the machine went wild. Lol.
BTW - it's 43 degrees here... at least the rain stopped...

OK me again.. If anyone hears about the police shooting in the Guelph Ontario emergency room please send out healing Ohmms to my granddaughter. Thankfully she was not at work at the time this took place and got "Code Oranged" to get in as quickly as possible. She is OK but her nerves are a tad frazzled. Watching the news is a bit scary.

I was going to tell you what was attached and it had nothing to do with a quick release....but I figured the censors would get me.

Oh no! What in the heck is wrong with this world. Happy to hear she was not there during the ordeal.
