Well all of our paper work is complete and done and done. Should be picking up the Airstream early next week when they finish the bike rack and a few other things.

Wonder what we should name her??

I am totally in love with this thing... it's all those windows, and that drool worthy dark furniture and light floor.

Well campers, we visited Citrus today and the adjuster went over damages with the service manager. So here is the new bottom line. Total adjustment $19k (Yes, that is a "k" for 3 zero's - no mistake) The roof has extensive damage and needs to be replaced. The hail actually penetrated the plywood under the fiberglass shell. The initial adjuster (in our driveway) missed the big stuff. Don't know how, but it was missed.

It has to be approved by a higher authority than the field adjuster. They can only go to about $8k and anything above that needs higher supervisor authority.

Stay tuned.

Bad day in bedrock. Earlene was very sad.

Great job! Really great.

Between fixin' like that and little kitty cats, you'll be out of the doghouse for quite some time.

Good snews bad snews.

Good News the water damaged cabinet drawers are all repaired and awaiting SWMBO's approval

Bad News. The fabric ceiling needs to be hauled out and replaced. I couldn't get the woody things to stay in place once installed. Heavy on the Ruckling Rucklefruts.

Wow, I wonder how they figured out that roof issue. Sure hope nothing is wrong with mine…didn't notice anything while being up there n-hundred times since the storm.

Once you finished all your practicing, how'd y'all like to visit the west side of Vancouver Island.

Carl, I think it has something to do with the angle of the Sun, really. When the MH was parked here in the driveway I saw a few dings on a bay door, but after dropping it off at the service center it was apparent that there were over a dozen dings all along the driver side on bay doors and the plastic trim was cracked in several places. So I guess when they got up on the roof (Service manager had already looked at it but said nothing to me until he talked with insurance) they were able to see the massive damage. Don't really know, but sure hope the insurance comes through. It's what we have insurance for, right?
