It's not Colorado, but it is the Colorado River between Kingsland and Llano Tx - where on one side of the road there is this
and on the other side
Just a small hill but that's why it's called the Texas Hill Country and not Mountain Country. Gotta go further south to find what approximates mountains in Texas.

Sena can be very entertaining, but like most human children, she never performs when I want her to show off her talents.

With all the buzz on The Great Curiosity I plum forgot to post my site at the IRV2 National Rally in Sept. 2014. Noticed several other mutants looking at attending. We will be at site H23. Hope I'm rested from April to September!

I think we really need to get serious about developing an RVM logo. It's been a while since we talked about it. Surely we've added some artists to our group by now. Or are all RVMs left brain people?.

I'll have no need for a pull through, I'm probably the shortest rig of the whole mutant communty.

Davdeb1, is that supposed to be one of those quizzes where you find 10 things that are different between the two pictures?

Seems to me since we all met and meet on iRV2 that logo should be included as a base and just add a littl mutant to it or something... just an idea popping around although I am hardly crafty.

Hi Marty! I think Shadowcath has beat with their 13 foot teardrop - but they don't come around too often. I did PM them but have not heard back. You may well take the prize at CL in Ar the 24-30th of April 2014.

So we can't plan to attend such a great curiosity. However it might happen depending on the weather next spring. So what I wonder is if this gathering place might have some sites for walk ins, or first come first serve, if a reservation isn't made?

Yes, I would like to know that also. It would be a 1400 mile trip, so some serious scheduling would be necessary with the DW...This is her busy season at her restaurant and I would hate to leave her behind...

Then she text that the check has been sent, I can cash it, take my money out and pay the mover she sends. Right.
Today's text ask if I got check, her tracking # tells her it was delivered, I wasn't at home at the time but said I'd contact her when I was home letting her know if I got check. Sure Nuff express mail envelope in mail box, inside was a check for $1890.00 and nothing else. She text again asking did I get check and telling me I can deposit it in any ATM. Funny thing, check has a company name and address in Il., envelope has return address in MD. and using the reverse phone book her # is in NY.
Did I mention that the base plate sells new for 3 to 4 hundred dollars including shipping.
Ok, so here is the question, do you think this lady is paying too much in transportation fees to her movers, or what?

Scan alert! There has been a lot of that happening in the Vegas area recently, I would take the check to the bank and have them check and see if it's real.. and don't use a Nigerian bank...

I thought we pondered the "re" potential.. if you have ever had a train (model trains included) you can definitely be retrained! Now this is not to be confused with Trane, which is a whole other matter pertaining to staying cool...
