Well not now... now that ya reviewed them... should have named them at the beginning and told them so... I always mention my RVM Family and iRV2's reach when striking a deal. Doesn't hurt to say - 10k readers may see how this goes...

Texas here we come....

Well hey, Colleen and Hunter, congratulations on the new digs! Many of us use I-10 right thru Van Horn, so you may get more company than you bargained for!

Glad to hear doc has given you the all-clear so you can go off and vacay! 'Bout time, yes? Have a great time!

R U an RV Mutant

Di..its called two foor-I-tiss, very common for boaters.

So we woke up at 2:00 AM, hit the road a little after 3 and pulled into the dealer at 10:15. I told them to expect us around 10:00. They get a gold star for having the 2008 Fleetwood Revolution inside for us. But it would have been a little better if the rear half of the interior lights worked. Dark bedroom and rear bath hard to see. Engine still had the orignal air filter, air dryer cartridge orignal, bottom of water filter laying in wet bay(froze?), pealing clear coat, fogged windows, batteries not secured, oil leak... just for starters.
No residental frig, no frig outside, no ladder extension, no windows on kitchen wall. Fairly low ball trade value so needless to say this is not the one.

Currently at a high school graduation party in Burlington Iowa.

Bummer, that was a lot of effort for that.

Ok Ed, now you know what you don't want, good luck finding what you do. I almost think that if I were looking for a newer coach I might start looking at those for sale by private owners. But they usually not won't take your current coach as trade.

A friend of mine bought a 3 year old luxury RV that originally sold for $1.5 million for only $189,000 cash. The guy passed away and his son stuck a for sale sign on it because he had no interest in RVing. My friend and his buddies took a few trips in it and he made a bucket load when he sold it.

Have you thought about shopping on the obituary page?

So in mutant fashion we went roaming today. Found a nice 50 amp electric only park - with dump station. It's first come first serve and was pretty busy for the holiday. Picnic tables and fire rings and max 40 foot. It looked like that could be stretched a little. Wooded and beautiful. Followed the park road past many open picnic areas. All very nice. A few pics of the place to go and sit... and a few kids were swimming at the beach...

Jumping into a few brews and training for Jeffs arrival... had a Gluten Free in honor of the Grand Poobah. It was not to my taste... but it was beer.... now on to the local fare - Back Road Stout... an Oatmeal Stout... the Sammy Smith Oatmeal Stout is one of my favorites.
