Hail To The Repair Lords

No navigation, no Sirius, and a bunch of other things that one has to think about to do.

Glad I have Linky back so thos things are automatic.

Now if I could just get the MH back....not going to happen for a few weeks or so.
Just got off the phone with my repair guys. I brought my Equinox in yesterday and today they're saying there's no way their paint-less dent repair guy will do those size dents. So the new plan is to replace lots of body panels (roof, fender, hood) and go from there. They're starting the estimation process with the insurance company ALL OVER again and while they negotiate that and order parts I'm getting my car back tomorrow so I'm not stuck in this crap rental I have. And it won't take 4 days to fix when they square things away but rather 3 WEEKS!!! The car place is going to give me a loaner for that time so I'm not dealing with rental issues. Ugh…

Our sincere thoughts go out to those affected by the flooding. Really something I never want to be a part of. Good luck to all of you in the affected areas. The news reports are so depressing.

Yes! Ready for lots of sunshine.

My hood looked like Sena was playing on it with a ball-pen hammer. (Sorry Sena, I know you didin't do it.) So, they replaced the hood but all the side panel dings were PDR. The topside molding around the glass was all replaced. I have one of those little triangle windows on he side rear and the entire panel had to be replaced as one piece. Hope no one ever breaks that window out, sheesh! Here's hoping you get a fast turn-around on repairs.

Happy birthday, Marcia!

Same to others I might have missed, plus an anniversary wish for Di and Larry.

Been bzzy, plus naps keep interfering. 😜 Glad to see the madness continues!

So sorry to hear! Take care on this drive, as I know you will, but tired is tired. Mom knows you're coming, I assume, and that in itself will mean a lot. Many healing ommms to your mom!

We are now scheduled into Thor on July 13. I don't know how long they will take but if our neighbour's roof problems are anything to go by it may be a while (and the estimate may go through the roof - pun intended).

As far as Bryce is concerned, I'm afraid dear old Blighty is calling us back then. For some reason none of our friends and relations have any desire to hop over the pond to visit us - obviously, none of them have a drop of mutant blood in their veins. So, it's up to Sue and me to do the heavy lifting. I do have to say though, it's a pleasurable sign of old age to have young folks offer us their seats on the Tube and help us carry our cases up stairs.

Pics, so it did happen! How appropriate: a Lone Star design. It's gorgeous! Hand stitched or machine? (You know I'd hafta ask!)

And to think: all I bought at AC was a basket, oh, and some silk fiber and an antique German spinbox. Oh well, and then there were the quilting patterns.... 😙

I think you're liking the colonies, eh? Food included!

It's a beautiful afternoon in Amana. Going to hate to move on tomorrow as we have had a great time here - and even more so since Jeff and Marcia arrived.
