Evening, Muteys:

After having a really close call twice in one trip a few weeks ago, we are considering a dash camera. I am sad to say that some drivers are very inconsiderate, and if I rear end someone because I can't stop in time, I'll be getting the ticket, not the other driver that cut me off.

Anyone in our group have a dash cam? If so, would you buy the same one? Brand? Price?

And where the heck is Tim?

Tim and Mary are hosting the state park and have little WiFi. They will lettuce, turnip and pea one day.

Hi Kate!

I think Tim is camp hosting at that big state lake in Arkansas about 20-30 minutes from Catherine's Landing... not positive but thought I saw something about that....

We have arrived at Forest City and like the park. Has a lot or seasonal or long term folks. They gave added decks and docks on the little lakes. It's rather nice!

Thanks!

We got a Wrangler Unlimited the Dragon addition - wasn't planning on going new but couldn't pass up the deal either. We are excited to start being able to explore areas more and off road too.

They do get you out of following too close and undo care and control tickets and judges tend to believe them especially if your lawyer claims you will submit the SDcard to a forensic audit to prove it hasn't been tampered with.

Somewhere, over the rainbow??

Actually aren't they doing a stint at camp hosting, deep in the everglades or someplace similar?

I use my GoPro sometimes. I also have a Raspberry Pi with a camera on it and it works "ok" as a dash cam. If you want something that stands up to the law I would suggest one that encodes GPS data into the video. I've been looking at some as well and they're all in the $100 range, not sure you want to spend that much. I use what I have as regular cameras but obviously that's not ideal.

Ooo! Looking like a sweet ride.

Okay, Your a back.

You're in Houston? We're in Texas City. Paddle on down and see us.

Well then, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Earlene has a Fitbit. I get my exercise just mentally thinking about what she says she has done. Wait until you go shopping and take an escalator or elevator up several floors. You can climb the Washington Monument just riding up and down one of those two devices all day long. You can walk 20 miles by just sitting in your easy chair and swinging your arm by the side of the chair. You can fib all day long on how much exercise you are getting.

I'm going to tell y'all where Dwayne and Sharra are located. They are in:

"The Eastern United States or the American East, ... defined by some as the states east of the Mississippi River, and is traditionally divided by the Ohio River and Appalachian Mountains into the South, the Old Northwest and the Northeast."

Ain't that right Dwayne!

Thanks Wayne we are excited and loving it. Still figuring out how to how it since we currently tow Vespas too. But we think we have figured it out.....now we need to try it once before we move.

Eventually we will get a motorcycle lift and tow 4 down. We just got the currant toe dolly do need to sell it now lol.

Good luck!!! We are heading to Red Wind Casino on Saturday and hope to hear loud winning noises from ours. Although we usually only leave happy from having fun.

I hadn't thought about a GoPro. I definitely want something that time stamps and would be usable in court should the need arise. We've had two incidents where I had to stand on the brakes in the last two years, both by being cut off in traffic. If I hit them, though, it would be my fault, lacking video evidence.

For once, I can say money isn't a factor, since we're talking less than $200, even if we go with the fancy night vision trucker version. 🚍

I wanna GoPro anyway. Lol. Who among us has not had to stand on the brakes a few times due to dunderheads? It's scary but I'm amazed at air brakes. Keep em cool - dry - not hot and they are a miracle.
