My only problem is where to mount it so Sena can't steal it.

This is the one we decided on:

I can't even begin to think how to mount it out of the reach of Sena's darling little hands!

So that 8 of the 12 sites at Ruby's are already accounted for. And if the potentials make it we have probably got the 12 taken.

OK Mutants and would be mutants - report in and let's get this filled up and get another 3 or 4 sites added while we can.

And remember - 4 of us are planning to slow roll up to McCall Idaho following the the Bryce adventure.

Even if we make it and it doesn't look like we will we will not be at ruby's it just cost to much and there are so many cheap and free places right there to stay.

I hear if you sprinkle that on scrapped up roaded cousins the taste is extraordinaire.

Just don't say it wuz me what told y'all.

Got my generator generating like crazy
Working on a repair to the Jeep A/C (which ain't quite totally broke)
Then installing the new electronics hookups for all the dash wires to get them hidden away.

Saturday evening we will be rolling out for a few days of just getting away from here.

Well just keep hoping for the best with your transmission, there are boondocking spots near by according to Barb, is there anyway to rebuild the transmission you have ?

Anyone in our group have a dash cam? If so, would you buy the same one? Brand? Price?

And where the heck is Tim?
Well, I read further and see that you made up your mind but I'm still throwing my two cents in. I had a dash cam and I was not happy with it. Maybe I should have researched further, but I didn't. I took a poster's word that it was good. So, I dove in and purchased a GoPro and I use it as a dash cam.

The GoPro is so versatile. It not only works well as a dash cam, it fits into my shirt pocket and can be used as a still camera or a movie camera. There are so many different mounting systems. Many of the other items I have tried using on the windshield with a "suction" cup, have, at one point or another, fallen off. Not the GoPro suction cup.

The GoPro is pricey but the many different ways it can be used makes it worth the price for me. I just have to remember to use it.

Many years ago, and visits to casino's, we came to the conclusion that there was a sure fire way to not loose more money than one could spend. So, the conclusion was: Just drive by the front door of the casino, drop a $100 bill out the window and just keep going.

For once, I can say money isn't a factor, since we're talking less than $200, even if we go with the fancy night vision trucker version. 🚍
See above - oh! You already decided. Okay!

Very happy to hear all is safe. Some of the folks up around that way had some real problems. There was a news report that a family (probably more than one) put their belongings out in the driveway to dry and air out. Someone stole there stuff. Sickening!

When we are in Walmart that can happen to me - real fast - if I'm not careful. So far they have been able to fix the problem.

lol I love that idea. We are not big on giving the machines money so we have a. Extremely low budget for them. $20

We go there for their amazing seafood buffet.

Also thanks for the info on the go pro we have been waffling but we will be purchasing the goPro today.

In 1960 I bought a 1956 Oldsmobile that I have always regretted getting rid of. Today on the far side of town lookit what I found.

Now to convince DW that I really really need another one.
