That's it, Marty. The Jeep is just more cantankerous! And like a ship *she* is a she not a he. 'Nuff said!

Ha muties, look what I found, hanging just below the great seal of Arkansas and the gemstone chart but nothing other than a Di original!

Looks good Di, now I know why that particular pic was not in the auction.

Ketchup done, again. Too much FB, methinks. It interferes!

Happy June birthdays, y'all!

And Ommms and swim fins to those who need 'em.

JNE and Dave, check in please. Mutant family needs to know!

Illinois is currently accepting what rain you Texans and Arkies passed on. So far my garden is happy, but then we live on top of a hill. Sometimes that's a good thing!

Our oh-hail Jeep is as good as new except for the one ding they missed. It's on one rail of the roof rack and as soon as ins. okays it, it will be replaced, as were most of the body panels, fenders, lights ....

'Course there's the CarFax report, but we think this Jeep is our keeper. We finally put the lifetime warranty on it.

Bella goes in mid-July, to Thor in IN. Who knows how long that will take!

Y'all be safe out there and don't drive faster than your guardian angels can fly. Good brakes and GoPros seem to be our best friends!

Howdy Mutants far and wide!

Well the sun finally came out today and so did I. I feel like a bear wakin up from a long winters hibernation. Of course I still have webbed feet! Here in Dfw it's a beautiful day with a little breeze and cool temps. We drove over to Grapevine Lake yesterday and the whole lake along with Lewisville Lake is completely shut down. All the parks are flooded along with all the roads around the lake. Barricades and police stationed at every road leading to the lake. Those poor folks living along the lake were not even safe. We have friends that lived there twenty years on high ground a 1/4 mile from the lake they have lake water at their back door and they are freaking out. Any more rain and it's over their porch and in the house. Of course it's too late for others. Beautiful million dollar homes are under water. So sad to see. Sooo we are supposed to have a week off from this stormy pattern so we are praying for these lakes to subside. Of course the Trinity river, the Brazos River and others will stay above flood stage for quite some time I'm sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes half the summer to get back to normal.

So Steve be glad you left when you did cause it's pretty bad all around this area. Can't imagine what the mosquito population is going to do this year with all the standing water. I doubt there are enough spray trucks and planes to keep the West Nile virus at bay this summer.

So now is not the time to come anywhere in Texas. Usually Texans don't like to see Yankees with u-hauls heading this way but now it will probably change. Texans with u-hauls migrating North will be a first. Lol

Jumping shad man... we have been watching the news and wondering how you were doing.

My BIL and nephew are at the French Open so I have no idea how his place is doing.

Stay dry and use those skeeter repellants. Organic or otherwise - just don't get the West Nile virus...

Very thoughtful of you to donate your ducks, Di, and a perfect space for them to showcase them too.

Thanks for sharing your find, Tim!

Uh, Tim, Diwizi's artwork is great no doubt, but shouldn't you tell her that this picture was taken in your mancave?

Man, If I had just crawled 100 feet in 4 days and someone picked me up and put me back where I started from, I'd be mad as heck also!

Herb, so sorry to hear and it has been going on in surrounding towns near us. The hail in Hot Springs postponed our travel or we could have been trying to maneuver through all that mess. Well, you're save, and that counts a bunch.

Come on down. We're dry for now. Went by your rv spot in Galveston and it was half full (or empty depending on your perspective). Fishtales is still servin'. Catfish is still the same in Dickinson. You're missing out.

Hopefully we will get on the road in a couple weeks.
