It's a brisk 53 degrees with easterly winds at 7 mph here in Bagoland. Headed to 63 with must sunny skies. Should be a nice day for site seeing.

The ponder of survivor ----> mutant or mutant ----> survivor is a good one. Those of us who have been camping most of our lives had some sort of gene that told us, for a good time get outside and see things - rough it a bit. That's what lead me to vans - B vans and lightweight backpacking equipment. Then on to Bonita Bounder. The Journey - being outside and seeing things for the first time. The progression is fraught with challenges to overcome and every one made me want more of it, not less. That has to be a gene.... and quite possibly contagious.

Got my generator generating like crazy
Working on a repair to the Jeep A/C (which ain't quite totally broke)
Then installing the new electronics hookups for all the dash wires to get them hidden away.

Saturday evening we will be rolling out for a few days of just getting away from here.

I love to travel, but wonder sometimes why a body would want to be anywhere else ....

I don't know about all our Texans....but Bob was flying south of us and was taking pictures of the Marais Des Cygnes river all out of it's banks and flooding the surrounding croplands. Several cities it flows through have their flood gates closed.
